As we still have some days left before the completion of this raffle, and Wafaa has a brother and sister, Shaima and Mohammad, who also need funding for their family, we are going to be asking that anyone who wishes to enter the journal raffle for Wafaa from now until its completion donate to their campaign instead! here's the link directly to Shaima and Mohammad's gofundme!

Will be trying to promote some other raffles here. Please stay tuned for that!

Updates on the ones I was running, though: I'll be sending out the journals from the previous raffle for Wafaa and her family soon! Unfortunately I was delayed by extenuating circumstances, but I promise I have not forgotten.

In the coming week I'll also be sorting out the entries for Shahed and announcing those winners.

Hi all, you all are familiar with Hazem (@hazempalestine) now. He is a dentistry student who left home in 2018 in order to secure a better future for his family, and has since then not returned home. His family is still living in Jabalia camp in North Gaza, where they face frequent bombardments from iof planes and drones on top of food scarcity.

He is vouched for by Bilal (@bilal-salah0) who is his childhood friend and vetted (family #281 on the vetted spreadsheet).

my friend who crocheted the Magikarp plush is back with a Spheal crocheted plush giveaway! Every entry into the raffle is €5 (if you donated €15, you would be entered into the raffle three times), so please donate for the chance to win this cute friend (roughly the size of a basketball) for yourself! Because of my friend's geographic restrictions, this raffle is open for U.S. donors only.

there's been no donations in the past 30 minutes. we desperately need to evacuate all of Hazem's family together. please donate and enter this crocheted plush raffle. share with your pokemon-loving friends too, help a family and win something in the process.

we are only halfway to the campaign goal. we cannot afford to slow down. €25,810 raised of €50,000 goal as of August 30. any donation goes a long way.

please also check out the handmade bracelet (with freshwater pearls!) raffle hosted by @a-shade-of-blue for people in the UK!

@mazenmanal has reached out to me to share his fundraiser, which is very low on funds. His campaign has been Verified and yet only has €1,042 of €100,000 raised

Please read, and consider donating/sharing!

Hello, I am Firas Al-Mansi, and I am currently managing a donation campaign for the benefit of my aunt and her children who are suffering from difficult circumstances in the Gaza Strip. My family is in desperate need of basic resources such as food and medicine, in addition to providing the necessary medical care for their children who are suffering from serious illnesses. However, it is not just about that, but we also seek to help them leave the Gaza Strip to a safe place where they can build a better and more secure future. With your contribution, we can make a big difference and help them achieve their dream of living in a safe and stable place.
I hope this paragraph suits your needs. If you need any further adjustments or have any questions, please feel free to let me know. We write to you today with hearts weighed down by hope and a desire to extend a helping hand to a large family in the Gaza Strip, who are enduring extremely difficult circumstances. This family includes children suffering from serious illnesses who require continuous and urgent medical care.

never mind the fact that claiming all palestinian fundraisers are scams is like an insanely racist thing to do, i'm filled w so much resentment that these people genuinely refuse to admit the utter harm that resulted directly from propagating this rhetoric. it's insane how many asks i get on a daily basis of people questioning the validity of the palestinians who're hard at work verifying these fundraisers so whole families can get the chance to live. not that the people who're so quick to question it actually wanted to help to begin with, but is this the kind of environment we want to normalize on this website. baselessly attacking people who're being firsthand affected by a genocide . is this really the hill we want to die on. it's actually shameful

if an innocent family was killed because of your irresponsible, thoughtless, racist posts would that haunt you. would you care. genuinely would you be able to live w it your whole life. i know i wouldn't

i rly think we should all band against this genuinely terrifying wave of hate here by doing our best to push every campaign we see as hard as possible. mohammad and shaima's fundraiser has completely stalled, so i ask that you all reblog and donate however much you can to help them evacuate to safety. 10 children's lives hinge on this fundraiser reaching completion within the week. please please continue reblogging and donating. even 5 dollars add up in the aggregate into something meaningful. i really, truly want to be proven wrong that it's simply people's nature to buy into blind hate.

NO DONATIONS IN LAST 20 MINUTES. Please continue to help Shaima and Muhammad’s family

The children have now been officially tent-less and starving for two days now. We need to get them money for tents and new cooking supplies as well as clothes and diapers ASAP.

Currently $64,076 raised of $66,000 daily goal!! Please help us raise the remaining $1,924 needed by the end of day 🙏🙏

My friends, please help. The massacres have become frightening, launched by warplanes on civilians at any time without warning. I'm very afraid of this. I ask you to participate in the donation campaign to save my family. My campaign is slow and needs more support from you. Every minute and every time wasted poses a threat to their lives. Your contribution and donation can save them as soon as possible 🥺🥺🙏

NO DONATIONS IN 20 MINUTES!!!!

Please continue spreading this fundraiser, with your help we can help Shaima and Muhammad's family raise the remaining amount for the daily goal today!!

Currently $64,816 raised of $66,000 daily goal, this means we have $1,184 left to raise by the end of day today! We are so close! Also please check out the Magikarp plush raffle and the custom made tote bag raffle for donors!

I need people to understand that Shaimaa and Mohammed HAVE to reach their goal this week. If by August 18th they haven't raised the full sum, they will be unable to evacuate together, and be separated as a family. I want you to put yourself in Wafaa's shoes and imagine having your family trapped in the middle of a genocide out of reach from you. Don't condemn them to this fate.

🚨urgent 🚨

My whole life is attachment in this link , may god not forgive you ,if you don't publish my story , d0n@te! a little ,Share a post with as much as possible . 👇👇

This is not a campaign we can wait weeks to complete. My parents are very tired due to the lack of medicines to treat them. Diseases are everywhere. The situation is catastrophic. Death and displacement are following us everywhere. The bombing does not stop for a second. I do not want to lose any member of my family. I cannot bear this. I cannot remain without one of them.

Anyone who knows me knows what I fought for from the first moment I created the campaign. This was the ultimate solution to make the sun shine again for every member of my family. I created an initiative and a campaign with all my strong motivation, and with all my will and determination to save them no matter what the cost. I have put all my energy into this battle to... save them. You put so much hope in every member of my family. I started fighting everyone who stood in my way.

I undertook this campaign for one goal only: to survive. So that we do not allow the occupation to kill us in cold blood. I don't want to see myself cut into pieces. I don't want to see my family in this horrible way. I won't stand it. You who are reading my words will not bear to live in this hell for a single minute, so you will fight for me because you are a human being, no matter how much I explain to you the details of the suffering that I experience every minute and every risk that I take just in order to survive.

I decided to start posting on the Tumblr application, which I did not know about, but I came across it by chance. I hope that this coincidence will be the reason for saving 8 people from death and genocide. I have great hope for you. I know you will help me and stand up. By my side in this ordeal and difficult circumstances

For those who do not know us, we are a family of 8 people: my mother, father, two daughters, 3 brothers, and a little girl. I am Ahed, a dentist at Al-Azhar University in Gaza, in the fourth year, and my sister Samah is in high school. My father is diabetic and my mother has pneumonia, and my brothers are Jamal, Hamada, and Hamdan.

Asking for your help is the only way I have to rescue my family’s life and future, your help may become our hope when hope is far away from us under these conditions, every dollar you can help with may save a life, bring hope to a tired heart and save a future of a youth one

Please don’t read this as a tragedy story ,, I’m here to ask you to prevent it from getting more tragedy and to help us start our life all over again. I’m here to ask for your help not your sympathy , to ask you to take action whether by donating or by sharing this to everyone you know who can help, please read this with your heart and take action as if it’s your family, your mom, your siblings who are under these conditions.

“The children are always ours, every single one of them, all over the globe; and I am beginning to suspect that whoever is incapable of recognizing this may be incapable of morality.”

― James Baldwin

the way colonizers unchild Palestinian kids is so heartless and disturbing. colonialism crushes children's dreams ON PURPOSE to try to destroy indigenous people's futures.

Wafaa's nephew Ahmed is 17. Because of this genocide, he went from playing soccer on his high school team, to playing with the other kids in his refugee camp in the rare moments between his odd jobs to support his family during famine, and volunteering as an aid worker to help other families. Ahmed lost many of his teammates, including his best friend Mahmoud, who he saw martyred.

Ahmed's cousin Yazid is 18. He planned to marry his high school sweetheart after their first year of college, but the genocide stopped their education. Yazid's fiancee's father was martyred and Yazid is now working to support both his family and hers. He also volunteers alongside Ahmed, risking their lives as the genocidal IOF targets aid workers -- Ahmed has even been injured by drones targeting him.

I'm not saying all this to make them look like superheros (although they are both wonderful people). I just want you all to see how totally the genocide has shattered their childhoods, and how much they have to struggle to resist that violence and hold the pieces together, and how the free world has failed to care for them.

fortunately there is a way we can help them.

Wafaa @wafans-blog is currently raising money to evacuate Ahmed and Yazid. This is time sensitive -- she needs to pay the registration fees to Hala Company within the next 2 days, by August 11th.

The full amount needed to evacuate Wafaa's entire family is $80,000; to cover the upcoming fees we need to get to $40,000 by the 11th. We're nearly there but donations are slowing.

Please reblog, and most importantly, donate any amount you can spare. Those $5s add up if enough people help. So much of the world is so hostile to Palestinian boys, please stand up for Yazid and Ahmed and help them escape. Don't let them get separated from their family, don't leave them behind.

August 9th: $35,914 / $40,000

plain text and tags under the cut

stand against genocide, help families stay together

thankfully, we covered Ahmed and Yazid's evacuation fees in time. but this work is not over. the next step is to raise enough to evacuate Wafaa's brother Mohammad and his wife Manal (Ahmed's parents).

Manal recently gave birth. Due to malnutrition she's struggling to breastfeed her newborn baby Salem, and she's at serious risk of developing a life-threatening postpartum infection. let's be crystal clear: starvation and unsanitary conditions are weapons of genocide.

not only that, separating families is itself a genocidal act. genocidal colonial regimes like "Israel" deliberately divide indigenous families to destroy community ties and alienate indigenous kids from their cultural heritage. family stories, traditions, and love are crushed as the genocidal entity seeks to erase an entire culture.

new negotiations could lead to the Rafah crossing reopening soon, inshallah, so we need to quickly finish @wafans-blog's campaign to evacuate her brother and sister's families. if we delay, the children — even newborn baby Salem — could end up separated from their parents. we can't let that happen. we have to fight back against that act of genocide by supporting these families.

this campaign became even more urgent yesterday when horrific IOF attacks on Khan Younis forced the family to relocate, and they need supplies to survive this new displacement. Wafaa earmarked the final 20k of the 80k campaign to cover displacement costs if they arose, but we hoped it wouldn't be necessary. now we urgently need to raise the full 80k so these two families can pay the fees to evacuate together, and survive displacement until the crossing opens.

the goal for today, August 11th, is $50,000. currently: $47,870. we need to raise $2,130 by the end of the day to stay on track. please give whatever you can, those $5s truly do add up

Today I hear very bad news, and this makes me sad after my family was displaced last night at one o'clock and fled at night and slept in the streets. This is something that goes beyond reason and thinking. Today they are looking for a place to sleep in a tent. There is no crowding in places. Everything became at high prices, and the worst was when the money was transferred to Gaza. We also pay high taxes. $100 brings $75 to my family. Imagine when we transfer 5000 thousand to them. For displacement supplies, including tents, transportation, and purchasing some simple life necessities, this is extremely unfair. Life has become so difficult that you feel like everything is devouring you and exploiting you in all circumstances of war.

Please save the families of Muhammad and Shaima so that they can be evacuated as soon as possible to end this barbaric and unjust war. 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Only 6 donations in the past 30 minutes, we have to continue raising money for Shaima and Muhammad’s family, especially since the parents and their ten children were forcibly displaced without any of their possessions. Here is a reminder that Salem the newborn is immunocompromised and Salma, the 5 year old girl, has been suffering from a painful intestinal infection from drinking unclean water for weeks now.

This family urgently needs to evacuate so the children can be safe from harm and the family members who are sick could get prompt medical attention.

Currently $48,447 raised of $60,000 short term goal, enough to register all 14 family members for evacuation. Can we raise the remaining $1,553 to get to $50,000 in the next two hours?

The goal is close if donors and people with kind and compassionate hearts donate generously, and each of you donates as much as you have. It's not mandatory. It is a humanitarian work that saves innocent lives like Salem, whose condition became difficult after displacement. He is in serious condition and needs a healthy lunch and vitamins. His intestines appear to be suffering from drinking. Milled water is an alternative to milk and contaminated water. Please please. My appeal to all of you is not to abandon these children and their parents who are unable to provide assistance to them. You and I are their hope for survival. Please do not give up.🙏🙏🥺

Two Palestinian Families At Risk

One, Mohammed and his wife Manal. They have five children, the oldest of which is only seventeen, and the youngest a newborn whose mother is struggling to breastfeed due to her own malnutrition.

Two, Shaimaa and her husband Mahmoud. They also have five children, the oldest of which is only eighteen, and the youngest eight.

Mohammed and Shaimaa are the brother and sister of @wafans-blog, who succeeded to raise funds for her own immediate family's evacuation, and is now seeking to do the same for her siblings, nephews, and nieces, while she is currently receiving urgent medical care in Egypt.

I can't possibly list all the horrors that the twelve of them have faced. I can only name some:

  • Evacuation order after evacuation order, from unsafe zone to unsafe zone.
  • Going three days without food while under siege.
  • Constant illness, hunger, and panic.
  • Eldest children, not even adults yet, going into active warzones to seek food.
  • Infant child suffering from a vitamin deficiency due to lack of milk, his sickly mother deprived of postpartum care and battling malnutrition, amidst the unsanitary conditions.

The border could open in the following days, and we have already let these two families down by not reaching their long term goal of 80k by that time, but the least we could do is to raise enough to evacuate as many of them in the next few days.

Number 260 on this vetted list of evacuation fundraisers.

We cannot talk about the number of women and children who lose their lives in this brutal way to which they are exposed, other than the many meanings that pose a daily threat to them in their lives. There are no longer words to talk about the extent of the pain we feel towards our family and loved ones, similar to the worst and largest massacres that occurred in the world. They need our help to try to support them with all our might. You and I will be the reason for their survival and rescue them from these horrific massacres, which they may be exposed to at any time. Without warning, please make donations large and small that will save them. Please feel free to do so 🙏🙏

Only 2 donations in the past hour, with a total of $30 USD. Please help these parents, we desperately need to evacuate them alongside their children.

Currently $46,561 raised of $50,000 daily goal. Can we raise the remaining $3,439 by the end of day? As a reminder, we need to evacuate Muhammad with his wife Manal as a priority because Manal is at serious risk for a postpartum infection due to lack of access to postpartum care currently for new mothers in Gaza

$46,941 USD / $50,000

$380 raised in the last two hours. Please pick up the pace, Manal is at risk for postpartum infection

47,855 USD / 50,000 USD

914 USD raised in the last two hours. Please keep this going!

Please remember that Manal is vulnerable to illnesses as a new mother, and postpartum care is very difficult to get. Her child also needs nutrition.

Please donate and share.

donated 10 USD, please match my donation if you can!!

Please look at these parents who are weak in the face of saving their children. They see danger surrounding them from all sides: famine, polluted water, diseases. They are losing the basics of life. Their faces have become sick from lack of access to food. Nothing can describe their condition, which has become so tragic. Their weakness in the face of saving their family is like a slow death.

Please have mercy on these parents who feel defeated in saving their children. Your donation saves them and gives them hope for a new life.

I’d like to introduce you to Ahed ( @ahedalshaer ), whose fundraiser is verified by the butterfly effect project (#407 on the list). Ahed is younger than my little sisters and yet she has been forced to shoulder a great burden in seeking donations for both herself and seven members of her family. She is incredibly sweet, and the way she has documented her life is beautiful. Ahed an aspiring dentist who seeks safety and the ability to continue her education. I haven’t known her long, but looking at her blog brought me into her life – particularly her life on October 5th. Ahed speaks of going back in time to her practicum, to her freedom, to her livelihood, to her safety. She speaks of a return for her family.

The lack of donations sent to Ahed and her family threatens their survival and makes a terrible situation worse. When I look at Ahed’s blog I feel a mix of despair and anger at the world that has left Ahed desperate like this – she should not be left to do this on her own. She should not have to feel afraid when posts of hers do not gain traction and donations are stagnant. She should be provided for as much as possible, as should her family.

I’m begging you to hear Ahed's cries for help. Read her posts, see the beautiful life she has lived, and help her in continuing it. I’m also begging you to share Ahed's campaign, and to donate as much as you can spare to her and her family. Anything helps! It can be as small as the cost of a cup of coffee.

Hi all, I wanted to thank everyone who contributed to the campaign so that we were able to raise funds for Malik's evacuation! I would like to share with you pictures of some pastries Zeina, Muhammad's 16 year old daughter, has made last year before the invasion.

Shaima and Muhammad's family was personally added to the vetted gfm spreadsheet by @el-shab-hussein as family number 260 a week ago, so please don't hesitate to donate!!

Wafaa (@wafans-blog) tells me that Zeina is a cheerful girl, and she is extremely lucky that she found her life's passion in baking early. She is always the first to volunteer to make pastries and cook for her family and friends' happy occasions, such as birthdays, weddings, and graduation parties. She brings a smile to everyone's face with the care and compassion she displays to anyone she spends time with. The cake on the right was the last cake Zeina was able to bake before the invasion, for Deema (Wafaa’s youngest daughter and Zeina’s best friend) when she turned 17 years old.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Hala agency has told Wafaa they will only evacuate the children older than 15 years old if she pays ADULT RATES for them, that's $5,000 per child. Zeina and her three older brothers need our help! We need your support to get to $25,000 in the next 3 days!! Please continue supporting this family by reblogging and donating what you can.

The campaign has severely stagnated, there has been no donations in the past 35 minutes!! Please donate what you can spare, and check out the Magikarp plush giveaway for donors!

Let's try to get to $21,500 by the end of day! Currently $20,020 raised of $21,500 daily goal, that's $1,480 left to raise in the next eight hours!!

Zeina is the girl who gives hope to everyone and brings a smile to every child and adult. Her laugh is beautiful and makes the soul happy, and this is evident from her love of cooking cotton candy and pastries and presenting them to her friends. And her family

Please put a smile and joy on Zeina’s face when she hears that a donation has been made for her evacuation. She really deserves this joy in saving her life.

Please donate and don't stop or give up on Zeina, she needs you 🙏🙏🙏🙏

The raffle for Wafaa - as well as for Shaima and Mohammad - is now complete! Congratulations to @jerboa-unofficial, @plasticdodecagon, @tailoredshirt, and @nureyev-steel-institute! Also, thank you so much to everyone else who participated! I'll be contacting the winners in the coming days to figure out where the journals are going.

Shaima and Mohammad's campaign is not yet finished, and they are still desperately in need of donations - for anyone interested, there is now a raffle for a handmade magikarp plush being held for the family! You can find and enter it here.

Hi all, as you know now Shaima and Muhammad are Wafaa's sister and brother, and they urgently need to evacuate all 10 of their children as soon as possible before they can even think to evacuate themselves and their respective spouses. This family was personally added to the vetted spreadsheet by @el-shab-hussein as family number 260, so please don't hesitate to donate.

Yesterday, Wafaa received extremely worrying news about Muhammad's newborn Salem, who is just weeks old, is suffering from severe malnutrition. Manal, Salem's mother, could not produce breast milk because of stress and malnutrition herself, and the family is forced to feed Salem cooked flour slurry, which is an extremely non-nutritious and even dangerous diet for a newborn. On top of this, because Salem was born in a field hospital, he was not able to be vaccinated; his immunocompromised status makes the current active polio epidemic in al-Mawasi camp extremely dangerous for him.

We helped raise enough money in the past two days for Zeina, who is 15 years old and has been taking care of the younger children since the invasion. Let's now try to raise enough money so Zeina's twin, Malik, could also be evacuated. As a reminder, Salem is suffering from anemia and severe malnutrition from not getting milk for days while Salma, the 5 year old daughter, suffers from intestinal infection and skin rashes have not abated for weeks now. Zeina cannot take care of all 4 of her younger siblings all by herself when time comes to evacuate.

Shaima and Muhammad's fundraiser has stagnated DANGEROUSLY, we have only received 5 donations in the past 2 hours, with the most recent donation from 30 minutes ago. To evacuate Malik, we need to raise $20,000 by Wednesday (August 7) at the very latest. Please help us ensure the twins can continue to take care of their younger siblings together.

Currently $15,598 raised of $20,000 goal as of August 5, that's $4,402 left to raise!! Please donate whatever you can spare as this is an urgent matter.

Please help evacuate Malik, who is only 15 years old, and has to walk for miles everyday to collect firewood for his family so that they won’t have to eat raw flour, which is the only thing they are able to buy.

We’ve raised $95 in the past hour, please continue donating. Currently $16,331 raised, let’s try to get to $16,500 in an hour!!

That’s $169 left to raise in the next 60 minutes!! Please share and donate if able!!

Guys ever since the smear campaign this fundraiser has slowed down terribly. Even though precious ground was recovered soon after the withdrawal of $500 it is still valuable time that was lost. Only $300 raised the entire DAY today. Please support shaima and mohammed as much as you can by sharing and donating, there are 10 kids who need your support.

The situation is dangerous and getting worse with my family. My brother and sister, Shaima, have reached the point today where they are unable to get lunch for their families, as well as for my family who is with them when they see their children screaming from hunger. And their inability to bear this miserable situation. Can you imagine an infant who does not have milk? How can they do in the face of this huge disaster, and the solution is to feed it with flour? With water, this is dangerous, and they know it, but there is no alternative to silencing it. Here is the cry of oppression and helplessness in front of their weak children. The condition of children has become more serious, and they are haunted by death and hunger due to malnutrition and the lack of provision of the most basic necessities they need. How can you imagine a baby?

I am here to deliver their message. I hope you give them safety and hope. Please don't stop, donate and share with your friends. You are their hope, so do not make them lose hope. Please 🥺🥺🙏

It is not lost on me that the people accusing shahed of being a scammer reacted like that with a screenshot of the post where i specifically talked about shahed as a photographer and what she had personally lost to the zionist occupation in gaza.

And while they are not the first to try and discredit Shahed, i have noticed so far that a lot of it has come from people who have “free palestine” in their bios and palestine flags in their headers- like it's an aesthetic rather than an actual movement towards decolonization we must commit ourselves to. Because the people making these accusations thoughtlessly don’t have to commit themselves to anything- no matter what happens, they’ll get to keep living their privileged lives unchallenged.

It seems to me that the user base from the imperial core is only comfortable talking about atrocities happening to people in gaza when they are faceless victims they personally do not have to know or interact with, but not when they are real people with rich internal lives- with families, friends, hopes and dreams, and as artists who deserve to be uplifted and seen.

They are unable to confront the personhood of the people who their empire is actively killing today, and the enormity of everything the victims have lost and it all reads like a violent reaction to their own discomfort with having to hear about it at all- the claws come out and suddenly everyone is a liar and a fraud who is out to steal the measly $5 they were never even forced to donate. "Eat the rich" website my ass you people cant even be trusted to not report and try to get accounts of people deleted when they are just asking for help.

I will not let you discredit and insult shahed and her family like that.

I have known shahed for a month or so now and we talk on most days, when she is able to get a good internet connection. It has been spotty recently because of the incessant bombing, and because she got displaced after the massacres last week from where she and her family had been encamped at khan younis.

She has talked to me about her little sisters Rafif and Masa a lot. Rafif, thirteen years old, likes to read and write stories, winning prizes for it at a sector level, while Masa, who Shahed has described as a nine year old diamond, loves to draw.

They are both currently very ill with severe hepatitis from the unclean water in gaza.

Shahed told me that in the days before she and her family had gotten displaced, she had been recommended by the doctor who had been treating the kids to give them sweets, so that they can keep their strength up with the sugar.

So shahed decided to make them cake. With the scarcity of food and water in gaza right now, alongside the lack of basic amenities available in a kitchen, it had taken Shahed days of hunting to scrounge up all the ingredients she needed to make a cake. She often ran into dangers just trying to gather ingredients for them, as many areas in khan younis were turned into active combat zones. Oftentimes she escaped from death by just a hair.

Consulting her friend who is a chef, she was finally able to make it using a clay oven and give it to her sisters.

She has told me that despite how tired and sick she herself was, and all the dangers she had been through, it was all worth it when she saw her sisters’ faces light up when they got first taste of the cake she had painstakingly made for them.

This was around the same time she was able to collect the whole $40,000 USD for her sisters’ evacuation so that they can seek proper treatment for their illnesses in egypt.

It was also one day before they were forced to flee from their camp at khan younis due to the constant bombing by the IOF.

Both online and offline, Shahed has been fighting for her sisters’ safety at great cost to herself, despite all the obstacles in her path.

Right now, she has registered her sisters for evacuation at the hala agency for when the border opens so they can get to safety. But due to the lack of funds for it, she will not be able to join them when they leave and will have to stay behind with the rest of her family.

In her own words:

"This is my family and I will always fight for them. I know that when I am afraid, I will be able to survive if I know that they will be by my side. We will be together. I can't imagine an instant where we are apart.
I will be too lonely, and I will collapse without them. Who else will give me the motivation and strength to fight? they are everything, my family is like my soul. I can't imagine for a moment that we are not with each other.”

Her sisters are her strength, and without Shahed i can't imagine there will be people in Egypt who will fight for those little girls as fiercely as she does. The safety Masa and Rafif want to escape to CANNOT exist without Shahed, and she has told me how heartbroken they are too at the idea of being forced to leave Shahed and the rest of the family behind.

TIME IS RUNNING OUT. TO EVACUATE THE WHOLE FAMILY OF 17, SHAHED WILL NEED TO GATHER 80K WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK.

THEY ARE CURRENTLY ONLY AT 54.6k/80k

PLEASE SUPPORT SHAHED AND KEEP HER FAMILY FROM BEING TORN APART.

With regional tensions being escalated by the zionist occupation in gaza, we don't know when they might get a chance to evacuate again. The people who have been hellbent on discrediting palestinians and discouraging people from donating to them by targeting shahed recently have been beyond cruel, and we CANNOT allow them to hinder Shahed from saving herself and her family.

Her gfm has been verified and appears #224 on hussein and nairuz's list of vetted fundraisers.

We need to get them to this goal one way or the other but i can't do it on my own. So PLEASE repost her gofundme in your whatsapp groups, in your discord servers.

Share her story, repost her photography anywhere you have reach, share the link to the raffle being conducted for her @journalsforpalestine wherever you can this CANNOT WAIT.

Shahed needs these funds as soon as possible. Her entire family is at stake and we can't fail her now.
