ugo’s not heavily invested in the art of gardening but he digresses, its still an enjoyable pasttime and once in a while probably wouldn’t hurt. he doesn’t know what plant, seed, fruit are produced without prior inquiring and how the variety of numerous factors that comes with the hobby of growing plants. he’d like to try growing a cotton tree, or plant though. it sounds comfy.

in which a supportive ugo is patting her shoulder gently, just to reassure. mainly referring to how she tries to display her feelings towards solomon but it fails miserably so far, solomon has just never been particularly involved in romance. as far as ugo has known him, he probably hasn’t even touched a romance novel before, he’s never even heard of solomon talking about marriage, or even just getting engaged.

‘ i turned off the oven, but i don’t actually know if it’s still warm, give me a moment-- ‘ ugo will just ... thoughtlessly stick a hand into the oven but subconsciously cautious enough. the air inside felt semi-warm, it was not burning hot nor did it hurt to touch the metal grillings. it was a bit higher than a human’s temperature, which definitely meant they’ll need to reheat.
‘ its barely a higher temperature than normal human body temperature. should we pre-heat it .. ? do we need to ? ‘

paimon always scared him a bit, terrified even but that was not to mean that ugo hated her, it was far from it actually. she was a great friend, even if her city was full of her people and everything was just really awkward whenever he had to visit or simply pass by. this time will be a little different, ugo slowly mustering up the courage to give her a swift peck on the cheek.
it was the best he could do, attempting to display feelings of admiration and appreciation for paimon through words would be even worse for him and no doubt will he retreat back to his laboratory in a beeline. the peck on the cheek was not much but ugo just .. raises his scarf a bit so it covered up till the bottom of his nose. thoroughly embarrassed— did.. did he really just do that ??
