GazaVetters 🪙🇵🇸

@gazavetters

We understand the vital role that trust plays between donors and fundraising campaigns. To address this, we created GazaVetters, a blog dedicated to helping both donors and campaign organizers build and maintain that trust. Our goal is to ensure that every contribution is used effectively and transparently, giving donors peace of mind that their support is making a real difference in the right hands.

Amir and his family have been displaced 7 times since this war began, and are under threat of being displaced again. Two days ago Israeli planes dropped leaflets over their camp saying they would be bombing the area. It is already incredibly difficult to live in these conditions even without the threat of being bombed. Please help Amir and his family by donating so they can continue purchasing basic necessities for their family! (verified, #174)

Stand with Darine @drdarine and her family in their time of need. Pin this post to your blog and be a part of a heartfelt journey to make a difference. Together, our compassion can create hope.

Israel has taken more members of Darine’s extended family. Are they next? Does it even matter anymore? It feels like nothing does. They just need to know.

Their home, car, and belongings have been destroyed repeatedly, leaving them with nothing but a tent for shelter. They have endured hunger, a severe lack of drinking water, and over 14 months without education no schools, no hope for a future. Now, they live with no money, struggling daily for even the most basic necessities.

Yet, despite these unimaginable hardships, Darine has managed to complete the first semester of her third year in medical school, thanks to your unwavering support. She’s a bit behind, but progress, no matter how small, is still progress. Every step forward counts.

Darine continues to fight for her family, helping them survive while holding herself together. She refuses to give up, no matter how overwhelming the pain. Your support could be the lifeline they so desperately need during this relentless wave of suffering.

Her brother Ahmed created a video that Darine wanted to share with all of us. It’s a collection of memories from their lost lives, and watching it brought tears to our eyes. Perhaps we’re just emotional.

I am Salem from Gaza, married with 4 children. My home and my family's 5-story home were destroyed and we lost our source of income. We lost everything and now we are 20 people. My father, my brothers, their wives and children, and my sister and her children. We are now living in Deir al-Balah tents in central Gaza. I told you my story before this update, in the donation program. Given that the Rafah land crossing has not been opened yet due to the Israeli military operation in Rafah, and until it is reopened and we can travel, I decided to update the goal of assistance and donation, and put you in this situation. We now need to stay alive only until the end. We have been suffering from the horrors of war in Gaza since October 7. We are still suffering from continuous displacement from one area to another. Our lives have become very difficult and unbearable. We have been living in tents since October 7 and are suffering from a severe shortage of medicine, food and water. In addition, we suffer from many skin diseases due to the harsh living conditions. We are in dire need of your help to provide us with a safe place to stay, food, clean water, medicine and clean bedding. As the days go by, I still dream of peace and stability. I dream of the day when my children can go to school without fear, and when we can return to our homes and rebuild our lives. Until that day comes, I will continue to hold on to hope and faith that brighter days lie ahead.

Please support me and my children who are enduring the hardships of war in Gaza. Your donations will provide them with basic needs such as a safe place to stay, food, clean water, medicine, and clean bedding.

Contribute to supporting my children and their mothers, even if it costs a cup of coffee, it helps us

Today is Rafif's birthday! She's turning 9 today! Wishing for her to have many many more birthdays in safety, peace, and joy in a free Palestine. Drew a Barbie for her since Ameera told me she loves Barbie toys!

It would mean the world if you could send her well wishes and donations to her family's fundraiser dedicated to their survival in Gaza 🕊🩷 A Barbie doll typically sells for around $15 (from what I found online), so imagine if everyone seeing this was able to pitch in that amount to their fundraiser!

Hello my dear friends🇵🇸

I am Raghad Ayyad from Gaza, specifically from the Shuja'iyya area in northern Gaza. I am 19 years old, a second-year pharmacy student.👩‍⚕️❤

I belong to a family who have been displaced since the beginning of the war from the north to the central area, which is supposed to be safe. I have been displaced more than 6 times within the central area to escape the bombing that is chasing us everywhere.

Ten days ago, with the deterioration of the situation and the continued bombing in the central area, orders were issued to evacuate the area in which we live. We were forcibly displaced for the seventh time to Khan Yunis.

Now we live in a tent that is completely uninhabitable, but we cannot find another place.🥺💔

My father is paralyzed in his right leg. Several months before the war, he underwent hip replacement surgery in Egypt. He was supposed to return to Egypt to complete his treatment, but the war prevented him from completing the treatment he desperately needs. He still suffers from continuous and severe pain, to the point that painkillers are no longer effective, if they exist, because the medications are not available to him in Gaza.

My dream and my father's dream was to graduate from the Faculty of Pharmacy, which I loved so much. I was doing my best to get the highest grades, and my father promised me that he would establish my own pharmacy as soon as I graduated from university, but the occupation destroyed my dream and my father's dream by demolishing my university and everything we owned. I lost a whole academic year, and the second year will start while we are still in this war, and I fear that I will lose another academic year. All I want is to get out with my family and survive this genocide so that I can achieve my dream and continue my studies and graduate from the Faculty of Pharmacy, and continue treating my paralyzed father.

I am not the only one in the family who lost an academic year. My sister Basma was supposed to finish her high school studies and then move on to university, but she lost her academic year, and my brother Mazen and my sister Nuha, who are studying in middle school, also lost an academic year.

We all dream of completing our education. We all need to get out of this genocide to complete and rebuild our lives, and this is not easy after everything we lost in this war. It will take us a long time to rebuild our lives.

I urge everyone who supports Palestine, especially those who support education and treatment, to help me and my family.

We depend on you and we have no hope but you.✌✌

I would be grateful to all of you if you stand by us and support us.❤

Help Ibrahim Siam and His Family Rebuild Their Lives

My name is Ibrahim Siam, a first-year university student majoring in programming from Gaza🇵🇸♥, Palestine🇵🇸❤️‍🩹.

My family and I have faced unimaginable challenges due to the ongoing conflict in our homeland.

The situation has left us in a state of extreme hardship, and I am reaching out for help from the world.

For months 🌹♥now, we have been living in a small, cramped plastic tent after being displaced multiple times. We have no access to clean water, food, or proper medical care, and the conditions are unbearable. My mother, Sabah Siam, who is already suffering from various illnesses, is growing weaker by the day. Without proper healthcare and support, her condition is deteriorating.

We also lost my sister, who was martyred along with her husband while she was pregnant. Her loss has had an indescribable impact on our family, and I am deeply affected by her killing, which is part of the pain we carry every day.

My father, Samir Siam❤🌹, and I have become without a source of income, and we cannot even afford to buy a morsel of food. I used to work at a petrol station to support my family, but the current circumstances have made it impossible to continue. Despite everything, I am determined to complete my studies and pursue a career in programming, but my family’s urgent needs have become a heavy burden.

My family’s priority now is my mother's health♥🌹🙏🏻.We urgently need assistance to provide her with proper medical treatment, along with basic necessities like food, water, and shelter. My dream is not only to secure my future through education but also to ensure my family can survive these difficult times.

Your support, no matter how small, will greatly help us rebuild our lives and give us a chance to survive these dark times. Please consider donating or sharing our story.🙏🏻🌹♥

Thank you for your generosity and kindness♥🌸

Help us from hunger😭💔

My name is Banan from Gaza 🇵🇸 I will tell you my story and the story of my family with a heart full of worry and sadness but full of hope, the story of my family consisting of 6 boys and 3 girls but two of them got married. I lived with my family in complete comfort. We have a simple house that is enough for us and we have the most beautiful clothes and we eat the best foods, but my father and mother suffer from chronic diseases. I finished high school and could not achieve my dream and complete my studies because of the war that prevented me from completing my joy and disappointed me and extinguished my life and the life of my family completely

October 7th, a new story began, a story of suffering 😓💔 The journey of displacement from one place to another began. The bombing was above us and we spent it crying and fearing a lot for our children 😥😥 We did not find safety anywhere, and on the second day of the war we received the shocking and painful news for our hearts and my father's heart more because he built it with effort and fatigue 😓💔, it was the bombing of our house in which we lived for twenty years and we have many memories that we will never forget

On 10/13/2023, we were forced to move to the Deir al-Balah area in the middle of the Gaza Strip. It was a very tiring day because we went there on foot. This area will remain in our memory because we found hardship, fatigue and extreme sadness there. We lived in a tent in the extreme heat, full of small insects and disgusting rats that no one could bear to live in such a place. We suffered from a shortage of water and food, and we faced great difficulty in buying them due to their high prices.

In addition to my family's children who lived their childhood in tents and war and endured hard work like carrying water and standing in long lines to get bread. This is their childhood, and they are supposed to be in school, enjoying themselves, happy and have all their needs that they are missing now.

Help me and my family from the genocide. Donate a little something, it means a lot to us

Please read the story, donate and share

Hello my friends, I am Fairuz, married and have two children. I will tell you my story. In this war and the suffering we are living, I was sleeping with my family and my two children, Ahmed and Mohammed... The morning of October 7, the fateful day that turned our lives upside down. I had a very beautiful life. My husband worked in a restaurant and we lacked nothing. My children had many toys and many clothes. We hoped and drank the most beautiful thing. I will share with you some of our pictures before and after the war... The day came that changed my life and the lives of my children. We no longer owned anything and our house was completely destroyed on the second day of the war. We escaped from it with difficulty. My child Ahmed was ten months old, Ahmed and Mohammed were 4 years old. We took a few clothes and left our destroyed house and were displaced to many places. Then we went to the south on foot, and I was carrying my child Ahmed, and the bombing and missiles were above our heads. I was very afraid for them. We were crying a lot on the way. We did not know which way to go or where to go. My children and I cried a lot on the way and went to UNRWA schools. I couldn't live there. I didn't have a place for my children and I to sit. We set up a tent and winter came to us. The weather was very cold. We didn't have blankets, bedding or anything... These were the worst days of my life. Then came the insects that filled the place from all directions. 💔 And Muhammad got hepatitis, so I was crying a lot during that period. And Ahmed got pimples that were spreading all over his body. I wished for death during that period, because I couldn't bear this suffering. Now we need blankets, movements, food, drink and cleaning tools.

These are pictures of my children and my husband before the war

I will share with you pictures of us after the war and of our devastation

Hello everyone, I hope you are well 🌹🤎

I hope 👏👏 you will look at this story of mine with compassion 🥺🥺

I am Hazem Hamada, a Palestinian man from Gaza. I am 44 years old. I'll tell you my story. Imagine this:-
Suddenly, Saturday morning, it was a morning like any other. But suddenly the ground shook under our feet, and we heard a sound like thunder...and then silence. scary. it's all over! 😱💔 Shells exploded everywhere, the walls of our house collapsed above our heads 🏠💣, and deafening sounds mixed with the screams of my children 😢😢. We crawled from under the rubble with exhausted bodies and terrified hearts, running among the smoke and debris in search of safety 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️. Our house, once so full of life, is now a pile of ashes. 💔

Now we live in a small tent in which we do not feel safe or comfortable. We used to live in it before. It has no warmth. We wake up every day to the sounds of dogs and the sounds of strong winds. We feel cold because of the lack of covers or clothes that protected us from the cold. Due to forced displacement, we were unable to take anything. something🌪️👗🌧️

I ask everyone who views this post to help us, even if just a little, to save me and my family from loss 🥺 and I ask you to donate via the link 👇👇 and whoever is unable, please share the post on his pages. Thank you for your humble support ♥️🌹
