Thank you all for your incredible generosity. As most of you know, aid into Gaza has been severly limited, making the prices of even the simplest things like flour astronomically expensive. Because of this, majority of the funds raised have been used to stave off starvation as famine sweeps through beseiged Gaza. There is a glimmer of hope on the horizon: there is a possibility of the Rafah crossing reopening, meaning people can evacuate once more. It is Mahmoud's greatest wish to evacuate his family, especially his parents as soon possible, and because of this, we've increased the goal amount in hopes of collecting enough money to evacuate the Balousha family. Previously it cost nearly $10,000 to evacuate one person. The new evacuation cost is to be seen. Please donate if you can to help this family escape from this war.
Two days ago, the occupation bombed a car belonging to the World Kitchen workers. This is a deliberate killing of those who help people, provide them with food, and save them from hunger. This is what happened previously with the four European volunteers who entered Gaza to help people... The occupation used all methods of genocide and starvation with the people of Gaza and it is still doing so. We are literally dying every day. Please help my family from hunger.

The situation is catastrophic now in Gaza after the heavy rain and winds this week. Did you know that families in Gaza are sheltered only by some pieces of nylon and that the cold is very severe? My family is suffering from severe cold.
There is no shelter to protect them from the bitter cold. Their help will save my familyโs lives from starvation and may help them flee Gaza soon after the crossings are opened soon.
I know that most of you are desperate and bored of constantly asking us for help. But how many times do you see the world and governments that did not look at us with mercy?

Thank you all for helping us reach our initial goal! When I first set up the fundraiser I randomly picked $50,000 hoping the war would end before we even raised half of it...Unfortunately the war is still ongoing and the funds are still desperately needed as less and less aid enters Gaza, increasing the prices of the little that is available. Another consideration is when I transfer the money to Mahmoud's brother in law's bank account, the bank takes a 30% cut of the money. Below is a receipt of my most recent transfer into Gaza. So please, continue to donate, you are quite literally the reason why the Balousha family hasn't starved to death yet.

Southern Gaza is now suffering from a famine that has never happened before anywhere in the world. My family lives there in Deir al-Balah and it is difficult to get a loaf of bread or any kind of food. We are going through a very good situation.
Since the aggression on the Gaza Strip began, my family, the Balousha family, has lost more than 120 martyrs, including children, women and elderly people, because they refused to surrender and flee the northern Gaza Strip. More than 70 families from the Balousha family have lost their sons, includingSome of them lost their entire family, as happened yesterday to members of an entire family who were victims of Israeli bombing of civilians. - marah balousha (blog: @freepaleatine95 @mahrahpalestine) is a computer science student in gaza who has been fundraising for months for her family. her campaign is vetted by 90-ghost.
- marah's parents both have diabetes and are in urgent need of medical care that is not available in gaza. the balousha family has also lost their house, pets, and businesses. they plan to use the funds raised for day-to-day living, and eventually aim to evacuate to egypt.
