Here with an update about Marah's campaign!
PROOF OF VETTING AND SHARING BY 90-GHOST, A TRUSTED AND BELOVED VETTER ! Her old URL was @/helpfamily
First of all, I want to thank all of you for helping her reach her $50K goal! Mwah mwah mwah kissing your foreheads & whatnot
I have kept in contact with Marah these past few weeks: she is still hungry and terrified, but our support for her makes her feel hopeful! There has been an update to her campaign and goal - please read below:
From the first post I made:
Marah @freepaleatine95 needs our help: She is a computer science student in Gaza who, like many others, has lost many loved ones and suffered greatly this past year. She has reached out to me to make a post in her stead to raise support. You can read about her situation here.
When I made the last post 17 days ago, Marah had raised $35,763. Since then, we've gotten above her initial goal!!! Thank you so much for giving and sharing, she is grateful for you all, and I am too~
$53,460 raised of $70,000 goal
Every amount sent her way counts. Please donate as little as $1 towards her campaign! If you cannot donate directly to her campaign, please send an amount below and I will donate for you!
I don't use this for anything else so I know that any amount sent here will be for her campaign. Thank you for reading!

November is the month with the most difficult memories in my family's life. On the fourth day of this month, we lost my older brother, Mohammed, during the Israeli occupation's invasion of the city of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip. My brother Mohammed was shot in the chest by a Zionist sniper. He continued to bleed for hours until he passed away in the first minutes of the ambulance arriving، What is striking is that 18 years have passed since the loss of my brother, and the occupation is repeating the same approach, invading and destroying the same city of Beit Hanoun. We are suffering, we are suffering from a criminal occupation that is unparalleled throughout the ages.
.🔴🔴 Help my family from here 👈👈
I am still calling on you from the Tumblr platform that supports the Palestinian cause to save what is left of my family So that we can provide them with the necessities of life or get them to safety if possible

I am continuing to support Marah's @freepaleatine95 campaign as frequently as i can, anyone care to match? paydays tomorrow for lots of people!
Early this year, I was wandering through Batroun on my trip to Lebanon, one I try to make whenever possible to visit one of my oldest friends. Being there, where life seemed relaxed on the surface, my mind couldn't help but drift south along the coastline, traveling over 300 km to occupied Palestine and the besieged Gaza. With every step under quiet skies, I thought about the different world that had been carved out for Gaza. And yet, they are in our world, the one we are responsible for making and changing.
Most of my conversations with friends were about people there and in the south of Lebanon. It felt odd enjoying a cup of tea in the untouched north.
This month, the north of Lebanon was attacked, and Batroun was attacked last week. I was lucky enough to be able to help people close to me.
For people in Gaza, there is no easy escape. This harsh reality is even more deeply felt in the northern neighbourhoods and camps, where people are burning alive in tents, and those that survive are bracing for a cold and wet winter.
Last November, my friend @freepaleatine95 Marah's brother was killed in northern Gaza. Beit Hanoun, the place of his martyrdom, is now under siege again.
Please help save the rest of Marah's remaining family. Please help me in getting them a new tent, for shelter from the harsh exposure of winter. Your donations will also help several families that she is helping. As of right now, she is at $33,206 out of a $50,000 goal. She's gaining traction and getting closer. Think about what you would do to save the rest of your family. Think about how hard it is to rely on the good will of a world that has shown such cruelty.
Proof of vetting here by @90-ghost. For every donation within the next 24 hours, I will help with $5 USD per donation. Even a small amount helps, but if you can't spare anything, please share!
Just donated again. We are now so close to the $40,000 mark! Please donate at least $5 USD if you can, or share to your friends!
Hello, I am making a post on behalf of Marah to help save her family, who are Palestinians trying to survive genocide in Gaza. Their tents have flooded and she fears they may not survive the coming winter. She fears for her nieces and nephews who awoke to the sound of bombing mere tents away from them.
Marah has said: "I am sitting now in my tent, surrounded by strong winds that make me feel as if the tent will fly away at any moment. The fabrics dance violently, the sound of the wind fills the place and it is not winter yet and we are in the tents!
We are approaching history. 4-11 [is] the anniversary of the martyrdom of my older brother Muhammad in northern Gaza in Beit Hanoun. The city of Beit Hanoun is now under siege as it was under siege on 4/11/2006. The anniversary of the martyrdom of my brother Muhammad at the hands of the Israeli occupation is approaching...and my family is still threatened by death from the same enemy.
We live a few meters away from Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, which was targeted and burned, and its occupants burned in front of the eyes of the world. All of us in Gaza are vulnerable to being targeted and killed at any moment. In fact, none of us are afraid of death because life now is more terrible and more terrifying.
The truth we fear is the path of death to which we may be exposed.
Please save my family..."

Here is a picture of my friend Marah and her university, taken before the assault on Gaza began.
There has been a great outpouring of help for Marah, but we can’t stop now, as her situation grows more dangerous by the day.
If you have missed my last post (here), let me tell you more about Marah.
Marah (@freepaleatine95) is a hardworking woman from Gaza who is passionate about computer science and wants to finish her degree and schoolwork to help her family and start her career.
Marah has worked so, so hard to communicate on Tumblr and tell us about her family’s needs, and we need to honor that and recognize her hard work by helping her and her family be saved from their suffering.
I have been speaking with her for some time, and I asked if there was anything she wanted me to say. This is what she said, with emphasis added by me.
“The cost of living increases terribly with the closure of the institutions.
We cannot provide the necessities of life, such as treatment for my parents, and their health is not good, and there is no treatment or healthy food.”
What does this mean, however? This means that if someone in her family is injured, they can’t heal.
This means that Marah and her family are all starving, facing the horrific pains of hunger.
This means that even with your donations, money doesn’t go as far as it should.
In addition, some people have raised concerns with the fact that the money that they donate seems to not help. This is because, as Marah so graciously explained to me, transferring any money to a Gazan bank will take 25 to 30% off of the transferred amount as a fee.
This means that if you are given $100, you will only truly receive $70!
In addition, Marah is forced to keep buying tents due to flooding and extremely expensive food, tarps, and diapers for the babies in her family, meaning that she is losing a lot of money too!
All of these factors combine to make Marah’s situation extremely difficult. Giving isn’t a one-and-done- fundraisers must keep up the pace to meet their goals!
Show that you understand my words and that you understand that Marah’s funds need your support.
Show that you care for Marah and her family. She is worth it!
Her fundraiser has still not reached its goal.
She is struggling and her large family is struggling along with her.
The rains in Gaza increase every day and the risk of frostbite, hypothermia, and disease only increases. Again, this is the true reality of their situation!
Please take some time out of your day to listen to her and donate to her campaign. Whatever you can give helps.
Marah, as part of the Baalousha family, has had her campaign verified as legitimate here.

"One Year After the Al-Aqsa Flood: Revolution Until Victory"
After a whole year of war and hunger. We are still suffering
After the crossings were closed again by the occupation and prices became insanely high
Obtaining necessary goods has become difficult for my family
The cost of a diaper for my nephew to wear is $1.50
Other than the costs of eating, drinking, and daily climates
The prices of products have become crazy and unreasonable and it is difficult to provide them in all areas of the Gaza Strip from north to south.
Help us meet my family's basic needs and provide for their livelihood. Any donation or participation helps us save them. Everything has become difficult to obtain.
Please donate to Marah. Only $5 USD has been raised in the past hour. Minimum wage in the US is $7 and even that is incredibly low. If you wouldn't work for $7 and hour then don't let Marah go by with less.

Help Marah!!!
Marah Baalousha @freepaleatine95 lives with her family in Gaza. Before the ongoing war began in October of 2023, she lived a happy life as a computer engineering student, with a safe home and beloved pets. However, even then, her life was marred by loss, as one of her older brother, Muhammad, was shot and killed by the IOF in 2006.
Since Oct. 7, 2023, Marah and her family's happy lives are gone, overwhelmed with grief and loss once again. The Baalousha family has lost their home, their pets, and their sources of income. The university where Marah studied, Al-Azhar University, has been destroyed. So has her brother Mahmoud's shoe store.
Due to recent heavy rain, Marah's family's tent has been damaged and flooded. They no longer have somewhere safe and dry to live, and their food has been destroyed. Food is terribly expensive and hard to get in Gaza. As well as this, her parents are suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure, and they are not able to get the proper medical care they need.
$15,470 / $50,000
Right now, the Baalousha family is less than halfway to their goal. Donations have been slow, and the last money they raised was 5 hours ago. However, with your help, we can fix this! If you donate and share, we can help Marah reach her goal, so that her family may have food, shelter, and get all that they need to live. Please, boost and donate. Help the Baalousha family rebuild their dreams!
