everyone i need to draw your attention to a campaign that's important to me

@safaa18mero messaged me a few days ago asking for me to donate to her gofundme to evacuate her and her family, i've been talking to her on whatsapp and she is such a sweet person and i want to see their family escape gaza and start a new life.

(edit 8/9): she's getting discouraged by the lack of donations and she only has $6,374 of the $75,000 goal, if you're reading this please donate anything small you can spare

here's a picture of her son amir playing in the streets because their tent is so hot. he was born during the genocide and it's been very hard for safaa to provide necessities for him.

tagging for reach: sorry for the inconvenience

this post is losing momentum so i'm starting a match my donation chain

match my donation of $5 if you're seeing this!

this post is losing momentum and i'm very worried, please dont let this family die in gaza

$9,190/$75,000 as of august 18

🚨A family trapped in the Gaza Strip appeals for survival

I am Lubna Al-Sir, I am 30 years old, married to Ahmed, who is 37 years old.

We have three children: Mohamed, who is 9 years old, Hassan, who is 7, and Yazan, who is 2. We built a beautiful home to shelter our small family, but we incurred many debts and loans to make our dream house a reality.

We took nothing with us but the memories of our home, hoping to return and resume our lives. We moved to places that were supposed to be safe, but they became dangerous, and we had to keep moving from one place to another, searching for safety for our children. We’ve been displaced five times, and we still haven’t found a safe place. Now, we live in a tent 💔💔on the street.

Can you imagine children of this age having to leave their home and sleep on the street? After the withdrawal from our neighborhood, we rushed back, eager to check on our home, only to find it reduced to a pile of rubble. We didn’t know whether to mourn our house or our current

At that moment, my son Mohamed found his favorite toy. He was so happy, but he discovered it was broken. He tried to fix it, but we returned to the tent disappointed.

Currently, we have lost everything we own. We only have our children. We are trying with all our might to get them out of Gaza, to live in freedom and dignity away from war and destruction. My children deserve to continue their education, to live with dignity, to play freely, and to feel safe and secure.

AMA'L ALANQAR'R SCAMMER‼️

Today I discovered that she created a blog in my name and with my picture and she writes the same posts as me except that she makes donors believe that they are donating to the Nesma campaign (My campaign and my family) which is verified by @el-shab-hussein here and @nabulsi here then she puts a link to her campaign. I contacted her asking her to explain the reason for what she did with the utmost politeness, and I was about to forgive her if she gave me a convincing reason, but she responded by blocking me from her account and continuing to defraud everyone with my name and picture. I did not expect the war to hurt me like this. I did not expect my people to stab me like this with their fraud and lies to everyone, so I ask you all to be careful and not to throw your money at those who do not deserve it. This is my main account @nesmamomen this is Amal’s fraudulent account @nessmamomen here . Please report her account and mention the @el-shab-hussein @nabulsi

This is my campaign, please don't hesitate to donate. It has been verified.

Today we took our little son to the hospital because he suffers from a chest infection that affects his breathing and causes him pain. I hope that every living conscience will help us save our young son’s life and donate any amount you can.

Unfortunately, there is no treatment in the hospital for my young son. Help us before it is too late.

DON'T SCROLL🚨

For those who don't know me, I will tell you my story

This is me Farah, I am 18 years old and I live in the Gaza Strip

Before the war, I lived in our house in the northern Gaza Strip and studied to get a good grade and study medicine abroad

(our home before)

But the war came, education stopped, and we had to evacuate our house after the occupation bombed our neighborhood with fire belts on November 13, 2023.

(our street before& after)

We were displaced on the Salah al-Din Road through the safe corridor. We saw nightmarish scenes there: corpses on the road, body parts, the body of a pregnant woman, bombed cars with body parts inside, and the soldier almost ran over my sister, but we survived. We walked for about 5 hours under the sun while I was on my period. I carry heavy bags

We lived in a tent in Rafah and our tent was burned in a nearby bombing

My father was arrested during the events in Khan Yunis and they tortured him severely

(Traces of torture on my father's body)

Now we are displaced in Deir al-Balah and live in a tent

(our tent)

Our house in the north was bombed on 7/23/2024

(Our house after the bombing )

We are now without any shelter

This is my story and please don't forget me

YOU ARE OUR ONLY HOPE ‼️

My name is Khalil Abubaker, and I am reaching out to you from Gaza, a place that has been deeply affected by the ongoing war. The past eight months have been incredibly challenging for my family and me. My father, who has always been our main supporter, has been unable to work due to the conflict. Like many others, he lost his job and exhausted all his savings trying to keep us afloat.

Our family consists of my mother, my father, my four sisters, my brother, and myself. Despite the dire circumstances, we have always stayed strong and supported one another. We were also running a small side business—a rabbit farm—that helped us make ends meet. Tragically, our farm was totally destroyed by an air strike, wiping out our additional source of income.

Personal Contribution and Current Struggle:

I was working remotely with a company outside of Gaza, contributing significantly to our family's needs. Unfortunately, due to the current situation, I lost my employment and spent all my savings trying to help us survive. Now, after eight long and difficult months, we find ourselves at a breaking point. We have exhausted all our resources, and the situation here in Gaza continues to deteriorate. The hope we once clung to is slipping away, and we desperately need your help to survive and evacuate to a safer place.

Our campaign goal is to raise €30,000. Initially, we will use €20,000 to cross the border into Egypt for myself, my father, my mother, and my youngest unmarried sister—half of our family members. The remaining €10,000 will be used to settle in Egypt and cover the costs of necessary items, rent, transportation, and other expenses as we start a new life.

I've never spoken up like this before; in fact, I feel shy even asking my close friends outside the country to help because I know it's beyond their ability. I truly believe in the kindness of strangers and in the power of the global community to help us get out of this dire situation. Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring us closer to securing a future away from the devastation. We understand that not everyone may be able to contribute financially, but sharing our story with your network can also make a significant difference.

The Heartbreak:

Leaving Gaza means leaving behind the home my father spent his entire life building, and the memories we cherish so deeply. It means separating our family in the hope that we will one day reunite. The decision to leave is incredibly difficult, but our safety and survival are paramount.

Gratitude:

From the depths of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers. Together, we can give my family the hope and strength to overcome this harrowing time and start anew.

With gratitude and hope,

Khalil Abubaker

Day 320

Today is the 20th of August,

Today is our wedding anniversary, on 20th August 2020, my wife Leila and I are still searching for hope and the beginning of a new and safe life.

We are Hashim and Leila, a young couple in our thirties living in Gaza. We were hesitant to write on GoFundMe, but unfortunately, this is our only hope.

I was working as a coordinator at an NGO in the morning and a supervisor at a coffee factory in the evening, while my wife Laila was working as a laboratory specialist at the Ministry of Agriculture.

We were working day and night to cover the high cost of medical care needed to have a baby and build a new house.

We got married four years ago and had hopes of starting a family, but our lives were destroyed, our past, present and future. We have been displaced three times, from northern Gaza to Khan Younis, then to the south of Rafah, then to Deir al-Balah, which is now undergoing evacuation and displacement in neighboring residential areas, yet nowhere in Gaza is safe. We were thinking of trying IVF to have a baby, a chance to build a family in our new house that we will rebuild and start a new life.

But the recent circumstances have made it impossible for us to get even basic needs like food, water and shelter. It's a terrible situation that we can't even begin to comprehend.

We need a normal life with safety, freedom and dignity.

With your help, we are trying to get medical care abroad after the destruction of all healthcare facilities in Gaza.

Your contributions are helping to free lives! No matter how small your impact is, it will be significant and will contribute to the evacuation process. Thank you so much for reading my urgent story and for your support. If you are not able to contribute, please share. I really appreciate your support.

Help a disabled woman to keep her utilities on!!

Monday, August 19th: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I was unable to reach my goal from my previous post and I'm still struggling to keep my utilities on!!

I apologize for asking for help again; as most of you know from my previous posts, I have been struggling quite a lot to make ends meet while on welfare benefits and due to my rent arrears and ever-increasing debt. And to be quite honest, these past few months have been absolute hell for me, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.

However, due to late bills and fees, the funds I received earlier were taken and my account is again in the red by £49.76 which I am struggling to pay off on my own, as well as keep my utilities on, which only have £1.52 left available and won't last the night. I don't receive my disability & welfare until the 30th and could use some help.

I know this is a lot to ask, but if anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much.

£2.50/£150!!

URGENT – campaign 2/3 complete

news reports say that the rafah crossing might re-open soon with the palestinian authority managing it. its being discussed in talks right now how to push this forward. fahed @fahedshehab-new said hes heard news it may be sometime this month.

the problem is they havent raised enough money to register all of their family members to evacuate to egypt. fahed reached out to me asking me to help boost his campaign so they can get enough money in time because this could be the only chance for his family to escape this genocide. we dont know exactly when the rafah border will open or how long it will be open for. its really important that they complete their campaign– can you imagine being in situation where you might have to decide which of your own family members should have to stay behind to live in unbearable conditions- possibly to their deaths? no one should have to make that decision

they also have raised €33,355 out of a goal of €50,000, which is about 2/3rds of the way complete already. weve seen a lot of fundraisers get their goals met through tumblr recently (thank you everyone for participating) and i really think we can also get this one to 50k.

please donate, and if you cant share this with someone who can

Today's vetted fundraisers

Faten’s family We are a family of four girls and two boys from Gaza. At the start of the war, we faced terrifying nights, living in constant fear. We were displaced from our home in northern Gaza due to nearby threats, then again when houses around us were bombed. A third displacement occurred when we were forced to move south, enduring harsh weather, food and water shortages, and health issues. Despite these hardships, we continued to face bombings, and my mother was injured. We lost my eldest brother, Nidal, who stayed in northern Gaza and hasn’t been heard from since November 10, 2023. Our family now struggles with extreme difficulties, including the loss of education and jobs. Our lives and dreams have been shattered. We urgently need help to leave Gaza to continue our studies and ensure our safety. Ke321_kr1,000,000,00

Weam fan My name is Weam. I was in my final year of high school, aiming for a high score to attend university and pursue my dreams. But the war shattered those plans, disrupting my education. We lived in northern Gaza and were displaced multiple times for safety. My family has suffered greatly; my father's shop and our home were destroyed, leaving us without income. My mother has severe back pain from living in tents and urgently needs treatment abroad, as Gaza's healthcare can't provide it. I appeal for your support to help us rebuild our lives. Every contribution matters.£90_£30,000

Mohammed Adel My name is Abdallah, a 23-year-old from Gaza, struggling to survive with my 12-year-old brother, Omar, amid constant attacks. We face daily dangers trying to find food, clean water, and medical supplies. Our resources are scarce, and we've already lost a loved one due to the lack of medical care. We desperately need help to secure basic necessities and survive. Any support you can provide will make a difference in our lives. Thank you for your kindness. €100_€15,000

Jamil Sharaf My name is Jamil Sharaf, and I’m 37 years old. My family and I have been displaced five times since the war in Gaza began on October 7. We now live in a tent on the seashore, struggling with severe shortages of food, water, and medicine. My youngest daughter, Laren, is without milk, and my other children are suffering from health issues due to the lack of clean water and proper shelter. Our home and business were destroyed, leaving us with nothing. Your support and donations can help us rebuild our lives and provide for our children’s basic needs. Thank you for your generosity. $225_€50,000

Hazem Mohammed I am Hazem Mohammed Albardawill. I am 29 years old. I used to live with my small family. My wife is pregnant and my children are Imad and Jad. We are very happy in our lives. On the evening of the black day, October 11, at eight o’clock in the evening, our house was bombed. I did not feel anything. I was taken to the hospital where my injury occurred and I stayed in intensive care for several days. Then after... It was during my coma that I first began to ask about my children and my wife, and when I learned of their martyrdom, and after that I did not feel alive, for my soul had left me. I mean, then, without shelter, without treatment, without work, or family, I felt that I had nothing. Everything was gone with the bombing, even my dreams. Yesterday, my family and neighbors needed to work in order to provide myself with a shelter to help me from the heat and cold of winter, and I need the required treatment in order to return to how I was before the damned war Which left a fire in my heart that will never be extinguished. I do not want the impossible. All I want is for you to provide me with money so that I can provide myself with shelter and treatment. To live a decent life.£375_£20,000

🚨IF YOU IGNORE THIS, YOU ARE DOOMING MY FAMILY TO DEATH

These are skin diseases that have spread in the camp. My little brother, who is 4 years old, cannot sleep because of the severe pain. He is in severe pain and is alone. He has been isolated from all the children for fear of the spread of infection. Unfortunately, there are no medical points or care here. Please, I cannot bear to lose him after I lost many members of my family. Help me, my friends, by donating or sharing the link to help him travel for treatment.

Dear Friends,

My family in Northern Gaza is enduring severe hardship. With power and communication outages, they face darkness and isolation. They struggle daily with a shortage of food, vegetables, and safe drinking water. Long waits in water queues and diseases from contaminated water are part of their daily reality.

Hospitals have been destroyed, and they now live in tents under the harsh summer heat. My siblings, once top students, are now focused on finding basic necessities instead of their studies, which adds to their suffering.

Seeing their gaunt faces and the brutal scenes they witness daily is heart-wrenching. I wonder: Will the children of Gaza ever escape these horrors?

Thanks to your generous support, we've raised €6,513 of our €50,000 goal, covering the initial coordination for my younger brother. I’m deeply grateful for your contributions and help in spreading the campaign. However, we still need to secure the rest of the family.

Our next goal is to raise an additional €3,487 by the end of this week to reach a total of €10,000. This amount will cover the costs for both my younger brother and sister.

Our campaign is verified by el-shab-hussein and is listed on their vetted fundraisers at #281, line 285.

Please continue to support and share the campaign. Every share and donation helps reduce their suffering and brings us closer to our goal.

Thank you for your continued support and generosity.
