you know youāre a writer whenā¦
- you spend 30 minutes choosing the perfect synonym for āsaidā only to change it back to āsaid.ā
- you google āhow long does it take to bleed outā at 3 a.m. and now the FBI is probably watching you.
- you write one sentence, stare at it, rewrite it 14 times, and somehow end up back at the original version.
- āthis scene is so importantā but you have no idea what the scene actually is or why itās important.
- you come up with the best story ideasā¦ in the showerā¦ with no way to write them down.
- your characters feel like real people but also youāre like āwho are these guys and what do they want from me?ā
- your brain says āstart writing!ā but instead you reorganize your desk, reread your notes, and spend two hours naming a side character who shows up once.
- youāve cried over your WIP exactly 67 times and will do it again because the pain is the point.
- you reread something you wrote and think, āwow, did i peak as a writer three months ago?ā
- every writing session begins with the sacred ritual of scrolling social media, opening unnecessary tabs, and procrastinating until panic sets in.
- you have no idea how long a chapter should be, so you justā¦ vibe.
- you canāt watch tv or movies without mentally critiquing the plot, dialogue, and pacing.
- your writing playlist is 98% vibes, 2% songs youāll actually listen to while writing.

āwhy didnāt shoko and satoru do more for suguru?ā satoru died that day.
āsuguru was suffering from ptsd!ā satoru died and also had ptsd. unfortunately his ptsd presented in a way that benefitted jujutsu society and allowed him to be exploited more easily by the adults around him.
āsuguru was suffering why didnāt they show more care!ā he didnāt let them. he brushed off their concern and probably would have bitten their heads off.
āshoko is a doctor!ā she was actually 17 years old practicing without a licence because GUESS WHAT! she too was exploited for her technique!
āhow did nobody check on suguru after his friends died?ā satoru carried rikoās dead body. haibara was friends with satoru and shoko too. shoko did his autopsy and handled his dead body. nanami quit jujutsu completely. they were all heartbroken and miserable and stretched beyond their limits. why didnāt he check on satoru (who probably saw haibaraās other half somewhere and cleaned up the mess from where he died) and shoko who actually handled his dead body?
āsuguru was depressed and traumatised!ā so is like, every other jujutsu sorcerer. so were all his friends. how many of them turned to mass murder? yeahā¦ exactly.
suguru needed medical intervention from PROFESSIONALS and needed to see a psychiatrist and ACTUAL SUPPORT from adults. thereās only so much the other exploited children could have done for him because i donāt knowā¦ they too, were busy being exploited. by the adults. satoru is the adult in place for his students so none of them get as bad as suguru. they have the love and support to keep going. suguru had no support and wouldnāt accept the little he could get from his friends. how can you reach your hand out and help someone who slaps it away? and why is there more blame on the EXPLOITED CHILDREN who were given NO SUPPORT after multiple severely traumatic incidents that happened closely to each other and notā¦ the adults who let it happen? so what if they were strong, theyāre just kids. theyāre kids. it shouldnāt have been up to them, they should have been protected. but itās always satoru and shokoās fault that suguru decided to become a racist genocidal cult leader to treat his mental illness (never mind the fact that theyāre both mentally ill themselves) and never the system that allowed him to become that way. itās also never his own fault for deciding to kill all those people and then stick with that plan years later.
