Do you have any prompts for showing disdain for a former friend who wants to rekindle the friendship? (I don't remember what my ask was before but this one should be similar)

Avatar

Not wanting to rekindle friendship dialogue

  • "Friends? We haven't been friends for some time now."
  • "No, I don't think this will end well for the both of us."
  • "After everything you've done, you think you can just come back here and try to act like it never happened?"
  • "We are not friends, and we'll never be friends again."
  • "You want to be friends again? Actually... no thank you."
  • "Nah, I'm doing fine without you."
  • "I really do not need you in my life."
  • "You think it's that easy?"
  • "Sorry that I'm laughing, but actually, no, I'm not sorry."
  • "With a friend like you, who needs an enemy?"
  • "Your idea of a friendship does not align with mine."
  • "Wanna be friends again? Why? Why would you want that?"

Hope these are what you were looking for.

Welcome!

This is a sideblog to @creativepromptsforwriting and contains all the single prompts I post on there in the right order - without all the other posts and prompt lists inbetween. I love lists and order, so I like to have everything clean in one place and easy to access/scrollable and maybe you like that too.

So I will continue to reblog all of the over 1000 prompts I currently have. Which will take a while, but maybe you discover something that you really like, which you totally missed before :)

Here are all of the over 1000 prompts organized (but not easy to just scroll through).

Get inspired and have a good time!

Hi! So glad that the askbox is opened!

I'm writing a story with two characters who are half-siblings with a really huge age difference. (More precisely, they're vampires, the eldest is a several centuries old adult, and the youngest is a ~30 y.o. child) I've already seen some of your posts with siblings prompts, but I was wondering if you could give me some prompts for this kind of sibling relationship?

Thank you so much! <3

Avatar

Hi :)

This prompts are more regular siblings, but you can definitely use them for vampires as well.

Siblings with age difference

  • The elder sibling has always been the protector, stepping in as a surrogate parent. But now the younger sibling is starting to become more independent.
  • The younger sibling is set to inherit a family legacy that the elder sibling has upheld for years.
  • The elder sibling had lived for a long time without their younger sibling, while the younger one does not know life without them.
  • The younger sibling has always looked up to the elder one, but likes to act like they don't.
  • The siblings had very different childhoods and not always understand the other's experiences.
  • The elder sibling is teaching their younger sibling some family traditions.
  • The elder sibling faces a personal crisis, and the younger sibling, now a capable adult, steps up to provide support.
  • Years ago, the elder sibling made a promise to the younger one. As adults, the younger sibling brings it up again.
  • Despite the age gap, the siblings have always had a competitive streak, and it can get pretty wild.
  • While the elder sibling has already lived through the phases that their younger sibling is now living through, they did so in a completely different time.
  • The siblings have vastly different interests and personalities, and them growing up in different decades plays a part in that.

Have fun!

hi! can anyone just ask for prompts? and how long do they usually take? I'm sorry if the question is weird haha I'm just sort of new to this blog!!

Avatar

Hi there and welcome :)

Yes, everyone can request prompts as long as my inbox is open (How to ask or request). But it is not a guarantee. This is just something I do on the side, so I don't always have time to do it. Also, a lot of the asks are hyper specific, which makes me struggle with inspiration for them sometimes.

It's important to be clear about what you would like to have. A lot of the times, people just leave half sentences that I'm unsure of what to do with. English is also not my first language, and sometimes I really don't understand the asks if it's not clearly spelled out.

So it can take a few minutes if I see it the moment I get the ask and immediately get inspired, or it can take months. I changed it so that no anon asks are allowed at the moment. That is because I sometimes suddenly get 20 asks a day and I cannot privately reply to anons if I don't understand their request and that stresses me out because I don't want to post 10 asks saying: can you please explain it to me?

One more thing: I have a Ko-fi where you can support me. And my members on there have priority on asks as a new benefit, which means that I'm trying to answer them first when I have a bunch of asks in my inbox.

Hope this clears it up, and I'm looking forward to your requests 😊

Hii! I love what you do here, I think it's so helpful and amazing for writers. Can you make some prompts for (dialogue and/ or situations) a witch and her protege who is 16? The witch is pretty 'famous' among witches for dark magic and so on, and she's agreed to be a mentor to this girl who's the daughter of her enemy (who's dead/ thought to be dead) and the girl sees her as a sort of mother figure and really admires her even though she's usually aloof and mocking or sarcastic towards others and is hoping she'll show her about makeup and girls stuff as well as just magic, but as the story goes on she (witch) realizes she actually cares about the girl and treats her differently than others. Also, they live in the suburbs, and the people there know they're witches.

Thank youu and happy holidays! ✨🎄

Hi, I hope you had lovely holidays as well!

This reminds me a bit of Agatha All Along, which is a show I enjoyed in 2024.

Here are some ideas for your story:

  • The girl still wants to do "normal" teenage things and the mentor mocks her for wanting to go to prom and caring about a dress, but then gives her some of her jewelry to wear
  • Someone in the neighborhood referring to the younger one as the mentor's daughter or just "your girl" and she stops correcting them
  • The girl is begging for a sleepover with her friends, and the mentor hears them talking about her and that the girl is proudly bragging about her to her friends
  • When there is boy trouble, the mentor is really bad at comforting the girl, so instead she gets creative with a reminder to all boys to not mess with her girl
  • The mentor wants the girl to concentrate on the magic classes and hexes her to get her to focus, but realizes she doesn't want to be this person with the girl - but the girl creatively frees herself from the hex, earning her mentor's respect
  • The mentor sees traits of her mother in the girl, not liking the way it reminds her of her enemy, then someone points out the traits and mannerisms the girl has from her mentor

I hope you like these ideas!

Hellooo, how are you doing? I hope you're having fun these days 💕 Actually i'm here for asking you to do camping prompts and dialogue; they're camping in the winter, it's cold and there's a bit of romance in the air...

Thanks in advance ☺️

Hi there :)

I started writing these when I just came back from a two-day camping trip. But that was in summer. Now it's winter, so let's finish them :)

Camping Prompts

  • There are many unfamiliar sounds you hear, when you sleep outside of a house. But hearing their partner's steady breathing right beside their ear felt more than familiar.
  • It was just like the movies. The cold seeping into their tent, with no other choice then to get close to stay warm.
  • They didn't know who thought that camping in the middle of winter was a good idea, but they were here now and they had to make the best out of it.
  • The marshmellows they roasted over the fire, with their eyes not being able to leave each other's gaze, were the best they ever had.
  • "I'm cold." "I'm cold too." "But it was your brilliant idea, so come up with a plan!" "Oh, I have an even more brilliant idea to warm us up."
  • "What are you doing?" "There are snowflakes on your eye lashes."
  • "Why are my marshmellows always burning?" "Come on, I'll show you how to do it."

Hope you like them!

Shout-out

It's a new year! How has 2024 been treating you all? It was a bit of a difficult year for me. And 2025 is going to bring a lot of changes with it. Being unemployed right now, I'm trying to make the most out of it and getting ready to start a new job.

So, it's going to be an exciting year, I guess. And I'm starting the year doing the writing challenge I created for my members on Ko-fi.

Big thank you to: @rosegrl18 @ouilah @soranihimawari @idaofinfinity, @JWLS, @davereedme, Chrissy, @norbezjones and my other wonderful supporters!

I hope you all have the best year yet or at least a really good one :)

And I hope to bring you lots of inspiration!
