So, whoād comfort Noah and whoād comfort Caine? Cuz they are both in need of love and support from Kinger and Queenie.
Caine turns to his lovers for comfort, he's completely shattered from Noah calling him by his real name - he feels like a failure of a father for keeping it a secret even if everyone kept it from him
Pomni is the one to check on Noah, since he never comes out of his room for a while - she understands how he feels and just wants to be a source of support. Noah isn't exactly sure what to think however,,

Noah does not react to the human world easily lmao
As of this time, it's very unclear what exactly Noah is, no one knows if he's more human or AI - but the clearest thing is that he's NOT aware of the human world, being sheltered from the knowledge. Primarily because Caine had grown very comfortable with Kinger, Queenie and Pomni in his life, with them accepting life in a digital world.
Because of this Caine becomes a BIG source of Noah's devastation, learning how he is the main AI and all. He believes for a while that he now lives in a simulation, that he doesn't know what is real or not real, how much of him is in control, etc.
And it BREAKS Caine's heart seeing his son so upset-
But trying to comfort your son while he's giving you the cold shoulder is not easy

I meant āferalā in an early AU development way, but since this is something more serious I put some more thought into it-
Pomni is much more confident and outspoken than she was, not afraid to run head first into battle and confront people when theyāre being unreasonable. Itās mainly attributed to Kingerās influence - heās always hyping her up and she takes it all to heart. If he says sheās brave, she acts braver; if he says sheās strong, she trains harder; if he says sheās kind, she acts kinder. Pomni might have forgotten it bc of her entering the circus, but she really needed a guiding parental figure and itās done wonders to her!
Another factor is me headcanoning that sheās autistic, and a heavy masker. After she and Kinger get closer she slowly starts letting her walls down and feeling comfortable, a very noticeable shift in her.
Instead of an awkward shy laugh, itās a loud happy one with snorts and feet kicking. Instead of shying away or being thrown about in adventures because of feeling like she has no purpose, sheās taking charge and using her skills resourcefully, talking in length about combat techniques with glee. Instead of sitting idly by doing nothing while in the tent, sheās engaging in hobbies with the others, training or having a laugh. She even offers a kind voice of reason, the gentle realist to help keep you grounded.
Oddly enough, some of her traits align a bit too much with Kingerā¦ her kindness, her empathy, her energyā¦
Thatās quite the coincidence I must say,,

Thank you!! Get very used to seeing him that way-
Despite being an AI, Caine displays a lot of anxiety and self deprecating symptoms, and being an AI, he does NOT know how to handle these feelings healthily. Also since I HC him as autistic, or displaying symptoms akin to autism, it makes understanding these negative emotions much harder, as well as expressing them.
Thankfully, he finds comfort in someone who really understands his feelings-

A Loving Memorial
I like to think that with his new powers, Kinger makes himself a large glass dome garden in the Grounds to harbour a vast insect and flower collection - but one of the most prominent aspects of the garden is a large Queenie statue fountain he made in her memory. Glowing butterflies accumulate around it, like moths to a flame, despite being found around the entire map.
Queenie's reaction to it once she comes back was one of pure joy-

I just thought of something. Are the golden butterflies like Kinger's version of Caine's all seeing eyes? It would explain why they congregate around Queenie's statue... He missed looking at her... As well as around Queenie herself once she was brought back.
In a way, yes! They carry some kinda fragment of Kinger, since they came along after his transformation, but their primary purpose is something else. Other than being helpful little nightlights at night, they harbour memories!! If they happen to land on you, chances are you may remember something of yours or someone else's!
Let's take Kinger for example:
Oops, this one might have struck a cord... he'll be fine give him some time!
But yeah, these little critters are very unpredictable when it comes to giving back memories, you can't choose the memory but they somehow know which one to give back.
And who knows... maybe they harbour some other powers...
