I'm Ed (Edwin/Edgar), I go by he/they pronouns [here's my pronouns page :3]. I am Italian, have adhd, and if I were an animal I'd be a ferret.

Non-binary transmasc, the dream is to look like a pretty boy from the 2000s. Maybe gay, maybe bi, maybe aromantic, but always asexual (will be making sexual innuendos/jokes/horny posts anyway).

Really into posting about cannibalism, vampires, queerness and current hyperfixations. Made a sideblog (@purple-hedgehog ) specifically for the Black Sails/fandom stuff but will occasionally post it on here too. & the thing is you DO see flint struggle with it. he's troubled by his own violence, he doesn't like doing what he does - and silver is just like. contemptuous of it. he mocks flint for how much he cares ('it must be awful being you') bc he just doesn't. the guilt will pass if you let it. i know i've said it before but silver really is the only guy where all the stuff "civilised" people say about the pirates is true and he doesn't really consider himself a pirate. he doesn't even like sailing.

#hey man I don't know#maybe not every single part of the online experience needs to be catered to children#and especially not media like TV shows and movie which are pretty easy to restrict access to from kids#also hot take (or at least a snipped of it since this is not the place for an extended essay). kids won't die seeing sex#I'm not saying show them porn nor am I saying each kid will be okay with seeing content like that at a young age but like#I was reading and watching game of thrones at age 12. I was on wattpad reading explicit fanfiction younger than that#that didn't traumatise me or scar me forever. it was just a thing I was doing. and my parents knew about it (about GoT at least)#and we did regularly talk about what was happening in the story and the content that was being portrayed and how I felt about it#sure. not every child is going to want to or even be capable of handling something like that or be comfortable with it#we don't have to push it on them#all I'm saying is. if you've grown up in an environment that was normal about sex and generally healthy about sensitive topics#we might not even need to censor everything from kids.#something to think about. kids are not mindless purity machines that need to be kept away from icky topics.#you can allow them to engage with these things in a healthy way through good communication and trusting your child to know their limit#okay I'm done for now
