ATEM HEADCANONS: .So I imagine if Atem stayed, he would live with Yugi hands down, they’ve been through everything together so I dont think they would want to be apart.

. I think they would pass Atem off as Yugis older brother, I mean, the resemblance is too much of a coincidence for people not to ponder.

. I do see Atem keeping his tanned complexion.

. So back in his days as prince, Atem would chase after cats in the palace courtyard, and after begging and pleading with Solomon and Yugi, Atem got to take in a stray black cat that kept coming around often, he named her Bast after the goddess and Atem would murder anyone if they tried to hurt her.

. I always imagine Atems room being very minimalist, with plants and breathable fabrics, Lots on sunlight, little trinkets and books that remind him of home.

. He loves his room to have the scents of Lotus and Jasmine.

.Career wise I see Atem not actually doing anything game related, but more historical.

. He does help out in the game shop, but I see him becoming somewhat of an academic.

.I really like the idea that his attitude to studies changes from when he would hide in pots to avoid Mahad and his palace tutors.

. I see  Atem making the most of his new life to peruse his new love for studies, being five thousand years old, he has so much to catch up on!

.I think like Bakura, he would lean towards a career in Egyptology or archaeology.

.In my AU world I see Atem and Tristan spending more time together in coffee shops for study sessions.

. His style would be very similar but also very different to how he normally is seen dressed.

.There would be a mix of leather, deep blues and purples, LOTS of jewellery. But subtle jewellery you know?  This guy was king, hes just used to being decked out in way more bling.

.But I think he would want his ears pierced and he would wear bangles etc.

. I like the idea of Atem sometimes wears quite feminine looking outfits? Like he can rock a crop top, or a kilt like its no mans business, But his majority fashion choices are mostly masculine looking.

. He doesn’t really like sleeves very much.

. He still to this day wears the cartouche Tea got him and hardly ever takes it off.

. He also has a gem pendant that is Lapis Lazuli that he got on a group trip to Egypt.
