This is where I'll compile all of ESAM's tier lists for concise viewing as I generally consider his opinions trustworthy. Starting with version specific general lists, and then lists specific to things like moves and skills. This page also exists as wiki editing practice.

*Please note that tier names marked with asterisks are not in order per fighter

2.0.0 (Feb 2019)

This tier list was uploaded on 20 Feb 2019, based on the 2.0.0 version, and the first ESAM tier list to be created after the game's official launch the previous December

Pre-Release (Dec 5 2018)

This tier list was uploaded on 5 Dec 2018, just two days before Ultimate's worldwide launch, being 4 months after the previous list, this list was created with a greater understanding of the roster as more experience throughout the community through footage from review copies and the game's unfortunate early leak had become widespread. Every fighter from the base game's roster had been announced at this point and playable by event-goers in some form.

*It should be noted that fighters are not ordered within tiers, except for the Top 5 category, and the ??? tier is a result of ESAM not having enough footage/information on the fighters to make a sound judgement on their placements.

Notable placements on this list include:

• Dark Pit being ranked separately from Pit
  • In most other tier lists, Dark Pit is generally considered identical to Pit in way of tier list placement

Pre-Release E3 Demo Build (Jul 2018)

This tier list was uploaded on 27 Jul 2018, based on the demo build of the game found at E3, it represents a very early version, and is based on very limited experience. Only a fraction of the final game's cast were available in the demo, as many were unannounced, and likely unfinished at the time, therefore many fighters aren't accounted for, except for Donkey Kong, who was strangely left out, likely accidentally.

Some notable placements on this list include:

• Pac-Man being placed at Bottom tier
  • In many later tier lists post-release, he would be considered a High tier.
• Little Mac alongside Ganondorf being placed at High tier
  • These characters would both later be consistently placed as two of the worst fighters in the game.
