• A country singer who made his name on the well known American talent show Pop Idol in 2006, Bucky Covington is certainly no stranger to performing under pressure at large gigs and is comfortable with handling a massive audience. His self titled album hit number four in the US Billboard 200 but Bucky has since fallen off the radar a bit since then. However, with the forthcoming release of his new single 'Buzzin'' following his second album release a few years ago, there's plenty of new things to expect from the country star.

  Back in 2007 when Bucky's popularity was at its peak, he played the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville Tennessee, a venue popular among country acts. The 36-year-old walked onto the stage as his own stylish self with a claret shirt and his flowing blonde hair which undoubtedly makes him a hit amongst female country music lovers. He opened with the song 'A Different World', a slow and very relaxed tune of his. The instrumental was soft and allowed Bucky to be much more prominent throughout, which was crucial so the audience could hear clearly how good his tone of voice is and also his remarkable vocal range. Another favourite, which had a lot more funk to it and did get your head bobbing, was the song 'I'm Good', where Bucky managed to successfully portray the feel-good nature of the tune and again hit the high notes with his raw country voice. These two hits were popular many years ago, but with the newer songs set to show stylistic changes, it will be interesting to see how Bucky has developed as an artist on his upcoming tour.
