  I've seen KOYO many times since they opened the BBC Introducing Stage at the Reading Festival in 2017 when they pulled a really impressive crowd for a midday start when most festival goers were emerging from their morning after pits and still gathering their bearings. They just go from strength to strength. Now 2 impressive albums in they have a wealth of material and always hit you with a sledgehammer opening. Now a 4 piece it's somehow allowed them a greater freedom and such is the headlong thrust that sometimes they're almost Nirvana like. They are a tremendously talented bunch and you get the impression they can put their hand to almost any genre. The set still offers a tremendous range across psych-rock, prog, alternative rock and sometimes straight down indie rock/pop. Memorable tunes - always good value for money - not to be missed.

• Excellent bunch of highly accomplished musicians. They really take there music seriously. I've watched them several times at different venues and they always deliver a faultless performance. They have a new guitarist after Seb left the band and I think they have little to worry about in his work ethic.
