• I saw Glee in concert a couple of years ago, and I’d highly recommend the experience to everybody who’s a fan of the show.

  Basically, the entire cast performs in character and it’s an amazingly clever opportunity to interact with the various personalities of the show and feel like you’re kind of in the show yourself.

  All of this is a wonderful celebration of pop culture in a really meta way, with a show about a glee club going on an actual concert tour performing as members of a glee club. I’ve read critics saying it felt like a glorified high school talent show, but that’s missing the point; actually, maybe that is the whole point

  Naturally, there’s something for everybody as the show consists of various pop music covers, but Glee fans are the ones that are really going to be talking about having seen this show for weeks. I had a blast singing along with the Glee club as they did Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’, which is actually a karaoke favorite of mine. Later in the night, I practically died and went to heaven during Brittany’s performance of Britney Spears’ I’m a Slave 4 U. This entire idea is fan service in the best way possible, and I loved it.
