Ha-Ash, regularly stylised as Ha*Ash, is a Mexican-American pop and country duo comprised of sisters Hanna Nicole Pérez Mosa and Ashley Grace Pérez Mosa, formed in 2002 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, U.S.
From a young age Hanna and Ashley Pérez Mosa developed an affection towards music, playing their debut show at a talent contest organised by their school in 1998. The performance proved a catalyst for the sisters’ success, who were subsequently invited to play the local Railroad Festival and Louisiana Music Cavalcade. By 2001 the sisters had signed with Sony Music and formed the group Ha*Ash, with the aim of combining Latin pop, country and rock.
Featuring Aureo Baqueiro on the production reigns, Ha*Ash’s self-titled, debut album appeared in 2003. Selling over 140,000 copies, the album found great success aided by the singles “Odio Amarte”, “Estes en donde Estes”, and “Te Quedaste”. The record propelled the sisters to U.S. and Latin American recognition and was later featured on the animated film “Magos y Gigantes”. Once again with Baqueiro on production duties, the duo’s sophomore studio album “Mundos Opuestos” followed in April 2006, rising to No. 4 on the Mexican Albums Chart. Spawning the singles “Amor A Medias”, “Me Entrego a Ti”, and “Tu Miranda En Mí”, it was their third Mexican single, “¿Qué Hago Yo?”, which became a No. 1, beating out Shakira’s “Hips Don’t Lie”.
Drawing influences from a spectrum of sources including Reba McEntire, Soraya, and Sin Bandera, the sisters' third album saw the arrival of producer Michele Canova. Released in August 2008, “Habitación Doble” (Double Room), generated significant radio play in Mexico notably with the singles “No T Quiero Nada” and “Already Home”. In 2011 a fourth studio album was issued by Ha*Ash entitled “A Tiempo”, following which the pair embarked on a successful Latin American tour. Three years later, Ha*Ash returned to the studio to release “Primera Fila” in 2014.

The Mexican-American pop group has toured globally and won over fans during festival appearances, support slots and during their own headline shows. There is such a feel good vibe when they perform live and they really inject a dose of fun into the venue with each appearance.
Starting young only aided the girls in their experience with record labels and onstage too, they are now completely at home underneath the lights and have no issue in winning over large crowds. With their sound that skips between latin, pop, rock and country there really is something for everybody and the girls are more than happy to lead the crowd through the long setlist. Jumping around the stage and running from side to side, the pair do not stop working all evening until the last guitar note has been plucked by their fantastic accompanying musicians. They take the final bows to rapturous applause and promise to be back as soon as possible.
The ladies of Ha*Ash love performing, plain and simple. I've seen them live twice now, and their love for the stage showed each time. I'll focus this review on the most recent time I saw them in 2013 for their A Tiempo tour. Most of the songs were from that album, though they did do some older songs.
My favorite of the night was Odio Amarte, or I Hate Loving You in English. The ladies are very high energy, always moving around during their songs. You really can't help but move right along with them. Their songs are so catchy and upbeat you just have to dance. They both have spectacular voices, which have gotten better with time. All in all, this was another great performance from Ha*Ash.
They're coming out with a new album soon, which I can only assume will result in another tour. I'd be happy to go check them out again. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences each time I've seen them. I can't imagine a third time being any different. I hope they add more US dates the next time around so more people get to opportunity to see them. You won't be disappointed if you get the chance.
Me encantan es una lastima que no pasen por aca en Massachusetts a dar conciertos o en New York para poder ir a verlas. Estan estupendas cantado me encanta la cancion Perdon Perdon y otras.
Excellent concert, they are amazing, the concert started exactly at the time,No too long, no too short,the place is ok, but the 0arking was the problem. hope they come back soon.
