  The elusive Trap n Bass pioneer known as UZ exploded onto the scene through uploading mixes on Soundcloud, but the question of everyone’s lips is- who is UZ? Hidden behind a mask and a cap, UZ popped seemingly out of nowhere in 2012 at the start of the new electronic movement known as Trap n Bass, soon he was raking up thousands of plays as his deep tracks were shared on Soundcloud. Giving away all his music for free, the word soon began to spread about this mysterious new and exciting talent. With the support of fellow musicians Skrillex, Diplo and Toddla T and collaborating with rappers: Trinidad James and Cassie Veggies has seen UZ’s popularity skyrocket.

  With all this hype surrounding UZ, queues line up round the block to catch a glimpse of this extraordinary enigma. Packed into small clubs, the anticipation and excitement fills the room as the crowd eagerly await his arrival. Exuding an exuberant amount of stage presence and the electric energy fills the room as the crowd let the music take control of their body. Turning up the heat and tempo, a sea of heads bop up and down as UZ encourages them to get rowdy. Whoever he is, is irrelevant- UZ simply lets the music do the talking.

• Damn son! I almost fkn cried. Never thought I'll get to see him live, but the timing was perfect so I took the opportunity instantly. The show was F-U-E-G-O! Total fire. Big up UZ!
