T.I., real name Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr. is an America rapper and record producer from Atlanta, Georgia. T.I. began rapping at the age of 8 and rose to fame after signing a record deal as a teenager.
T.I. was raised by his grandparents in Georgia, who nicknamed him Tip in memory of his great-grandfather. After meeting local rapper Big Kuntry King, T.I began to make his own mixtapes and was picked up by Ghet-O-Vision Entertainment some years later. Due to another artist on the label using a similar name, Tip was shortened to T.I and a rap star was born.
T.I.’s childhood in Georgia had taught him a lot about hustling, so when his record deal with Arista Records went sour after the release of his first record, it was no surprise when T.I formed his own label, Grand Hustle Entertainment and continued to release mixtapes.
T.I.’s drive and talent won further mainstream attention and he was signed to Atlantic Records where he released his second album, “Trap Muzik”, which was followed by “Urban Legend” a year later. Both albums proved to be a success and were both top 10 albums in the US charts.
T.I.’s biggest successes, though, have been his third, fourth and fifth studio albums titled “King”, “T.I .vs. T.I.P.” and “Paper Trail” respectively. Each hit the number one spot in the US and also won the singer three Grammy Awards. T.I’s single “Whatever You Like” from the album “Paper Trail” proved to be the most successful single for the rapper since the inception of his career, and the track impressively leapt from 71 to the number one spot on the Billboard charts.
T.I. has collaborated successfully with a host of artists throughout his career including Iggy Azalea, Lil Wayne, Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke, amongst many others. The most successful collaboration was the single “Blurred Lines” with Robin Thicke, which went platinum and hit the number one spot on almost every major music chart.
T.I.’s most recent three studio albums have also all been top five albums in the US charts and have done favourably in other parts of the world. T.I.’s work and the number of fan’s he can attract to any of his gigs really are a testament to his talent.

Many thought that young Tip was claiming to be king of the south, a title that after only two albums he felt he had earned. Now in 2014, T.I. has become rap royalty with 8 critically-acclaimed albums and 3 Grammy awards. T.I’s set started with “rubber-band man”; a catchy hook and a dope beat produced by David Banner. Right off the back, T.I. brings his high energy raps to get the crowd into it. He then goes into a set of some of his biggest hits mixed with some of music’s biggest hits. You will probably see T.I. do somebody else’s song and do it better. T.I. vocals sound on-point and he does not really need a hype-man but he has several and that may be his down point. Some stand-out hits included ‘Front Back’, ‘You Don’t know me’, and ‘Ball’. Oh and don’t be surprised if T.I. brings out some special guest. He has a lot of talented friends that come out to his shows and perform. Just to name a few; Pharrell, Kendrick Lamar, B.O.B. and Iggy Azalea. T.I. also proves he’s one of the greatest by showing off his freestyle skills. Simply put dude is nice.

A huge native american head illuminates the back of the stage and T.I. confidently steps out as the crowd cheers in unison. Moments before they had been busily chattering about the sheer range of possibilities that the rapper could include onto the show's setlist.
Having classic collaborations like Destiny Child's 'Soldier' and Justin Timberlake's 'My Love' as well as featuring alongside Rihanna on 'Live Your Life' and Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines', it had the possibility of being a celebration of some of the best R & B of the past decade. The show does follow a similar format, with T.I. often playing snippets of these hits and merging with his own solo work so he can freestyle. This keeps the crowd engaged and coupled with his enthusiastic showmanship nobody is left disappointed.
T.I is one of the biggest and hottest American rappers currently gracing the music scene. He has collaborated with some of the biggest giants in the music industry, including Justin Timberlake and Rihanna, and his swagger and confidence is unrivaled. He put on a great show, and simply oozed confidence and style. His rapping style was very energetic and fast and he would often suddenly go into freestyle which the crowd would cheer and clap along to. T.I welcomed the crowd and promised us a party, something which he delivered no problem. There was not a slow moment in the entire show and I was surprised that T.I managed to retain his breathing throughout, the speed at which lyrics were flying. A good crowd had formed to listen to T.I perform his biggest hits, a number of covers and the many hits which he has collaborated on over the years. Stand out songs included ‘Whatever You Like’, ‘Live Your Life’ and ‘Dead and Gone’ amongst many others, which showcased just how great T.I’s musical career has been.
Do not by any means purchase ANY package of ANY kind from this tour. It read plain as day that a photograph with T.I. was included. We plan for weeks and the day comes and they shut me down. Came up with all this nonsense and sent ill structured emails with vague verbiage throwing around the word "Grand" here and there BUT somehow now (after ruining the night and the mood and the opportunity ) they are saying my "Hustle Package" was $157 for a shirt THAT merch had none of. Eventbrite details are now down and I should have screenshot it. Why would I think T.I. team would treat a loyal fan paying GOOD money like nothing. I had the same experience as my friends who paid general admission. Mine was worse because I had expectations that were crushed. I hope this gets back to T.I. because the venues and organizers are faulty.
The show was great! T.I. and all the Hustle Gang put on a fantastic show. The sound was good throughout the venue. The only thing that was confusing was that I saw several people out on the floor with their drinks but when I tried to leave the bar area, I was told I wasn't allowed to bring the drink out onto the floor. I'm fine following the rules but I felt they should've been enforced equally for everyone to avoid confusion. Otherwise, I highly recommend the venue and the artist.
Yo that show was HOT!!!! It was Lit!!! Really enjoyed myself!!! DJ was even doin his thing!!!and Young Dro did too he was part of the show T.I. really put on a Good show!! Loved how he went back and did a lot of his Hot Classic Stuff!! You gotta go see him if you get the chance to!!! You wount be disappointed!! Can't wait till he comes back again!!!
I really enjoyed the show the atmosphere was great the staff and service great beyond expectations. I will definitely come back to see other artists.....Thanks for making this a memorable occasion for me and my friends......WE LOVE T.I. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
T.I. did an awesome job at the show. He's always engaging with the audience & dancing. He brought out his kids because it was Fathers Day too. So it was. I've to see the same people on television, on the stage. I knew I wanted to see him because he's great at performing.
T.I concert was an awesome experience. He had all the hitters from Big Boi, DJ Khalid, Meek Mill, Rick Ross, Plies Rich Homie Quan and many other awesome artist at his concert who also performed. I don't think anyone could top a T.I. concert!!!He did an awesome job!!
It was the first time i saw T.I. live even though i felt he came on later than i expected the wait was well the worth it. Jannus live in St Pete is a great place and seeing T.I. There made it even better and i only paid 27.00 dollars.hustle gang tour great.
