  Steve Tyrell knows toe-tapping sophistication. With a confident swagger, billion-dollar pearly white smile and a suave sheening barnet, this silver fox with entertain, charm and beguile with his repository of soulful, delicate tunes. He plays his own original material, as well as the internationally recognised jazz standards, fronting the band like a true virtuoso. Tyrell first made his name as a big-cheese producer, as head of artists and repertoire at Sceptre Records in mid-town Manhattan. He worked with the likes of Burt Bacharach and Hal David, making them recognisable stars. He’s the hidden talent behind Bacharach-David classic, ‘Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head’. Since embarking upon his own solo career, he’s achieved great success and recognition, consecutively topping the jazz charts with his seven albums of versions of Sinatra and Disney standards. His live shows are electric, at once soothing and engaging. The modulating tones of his voice, ranging from soft crooning, to punchy, bawdy breakdowns are fitting to any arena, from small intimate barrooms to the decadence of a Las Vegas palais. He’ll reel through an entire set list without a falter or a sweat.

• Absolutely loved your show! I was, however, very disappointed with your opening act. They played too long, and played music which had little or no interest to us. We paid and drove a long distance to see Steve Tyrell, not some, not so good, unheard of group. By the time Steve came out, it was after 9:00, and we were beginning to get tired. We had to leave after seeing only an hour of your show. We loved what we did see, but are very disappointed that we missed what we heard was the best part of your show. At 73, we’re still loyal fans, just disappointed that what we’d looked forward to for years, turned out the way it did. Rick and Suzanne Rose

• Each of Steve’s shows get better than the previous! Loved every minute of last nights show at Agoura Hills Canyon Club! A little disappointed no CDs were for sale or he didn’t sign autographs as I’d taken a picture we had taken last April at Smith Center in Las Vegas. I wanted him to sign. Can’t wait till Fen 9 and his new CD is available!

• Just saw Steve in Charlotte, NC. My first and so wonderful I wanted to take him home with me. Alas, my sister said we needed to be introduced first.

  Best concert I have ever been to. Small, nightclub atmosphere added to the event.

  I will be checking future venues. ❤️❤️❤️

• My wife and I drove down from the Dallas area to see Steve in concert. It was better than I could have expected. He was so personable during the concert and even signed autographs after the show! Will be great to see him again!!

• Steve Tyrell show was great.

  What was not great was Songkick advertising it as a Fort Lauderdale locale when in reality it was in Palm Beach Gardens, 90 minutes away. Someone needs to check their information.

• Steve played four of his songs off of his new CD. He was excellent as usual. Great show and small venue for an intimate experience Missed Bob Though. Little Ricky is a great addition.
