  In 2004, Simon Ward, Stephen Livingstone, and James Hamilton decided to form a band and call it Errors. Since then, they’ve been signed to Mogwai’s label, Rock Action Records, and released 4 albums and 2 EPs…not too shabby. They are just beginning to gain the attention of the entire world, having recently toured with fellow Scottish band, CHVRCHES.

  The “post-electro” band tends to lean a little more on the rock side during their live shows; mainly because there is a very heavy guitar concentration. All three members take it upon them to multi-instrumentalists with Simon on keys, guitar and programming, Stephen on guitars, keys, programming and vocals, and James keeping tempo on the drum set. The sets are very lively, and keep with a darker atmosphere, save for the lights that are synchronized with the music. Between the sets they’ll speak, but not much, just a few “thanks for being here”s, or to introductions to the next song. For the entire set, everyone is head bobbing, both on stage on in the crowd, and you really can’t help it. The tunes are catchy and the added effect of it being live just adds more energy to the music. A fun and exciting show to check out if you haven’t seen them yet.
