Biographie

  • Every Time I Die is an American metalcore band who have released seven studio albums. Formed in Buffalo, New York in 1998, Every Time I Die has had two top 25 hits on the Billboard charts.

The band was formed by brothers Keith Buckley and Jordan Buckley who provide vocals and guitars, respectively. The duo originally brought on Andy Williams, John McCarthy, and Michael "Ratboy" Novak to fill guitar, bass and drums, but over the years the band has gone through multiple line-ups due to internal conflicts. Today, Every Time I Die consists of Keith and Jordan Buckley, Andy Williams, Stephen Micciche and Ryan Leger.

Known for their highly intelligent and deeply sarcastic lyrics, Every Time I Die has released seven studio albums between 2001 and 2014. Their work has gained steadily in popularity over the years with their two most recent albums, “Ex Lives” and “From Parts Unknown”, placing at number 20 and number 22 in the US Billboard charts, respectively.

The band has supported multiple big names on tour over the years including Killswitch Engage (whom they have toured with multiple times), The Dillinger Escape Plan, Parkway Drive and The Ghost Inside amongst others. The band has played gigs across the Americas, Australia and Europe, winning fans with the theatrical intensity of their live shows.

Happy to collaborate on their tracks as well as on their tours, Every Time I Die has recorded material in collaboration with artists such as Pete Wentz, Matt Caughthran and Greg Puciato. Consistently pleasing fans with their albums and their live gigs, Every Time I Die has a solid set of fans that are certain to support them for years to come.

  • If there’s one thing to be said about Every Time I Die, it would be that seeing them live will no question be one of the most energetic live shows you will ever go to.

From their up tempo tracks rooted in traditional hardcore to the more modern sounding slowed down breakdown heavy tracks – the band and as a result almost every single member in the audience is going absolutely insane for sixty whole minutes.

Keith Buckley, with his trademark tattoo sleeves, is constantly jumping around the entire time he’s on stage, whether he’s screaming and growling the heavy moments or singing cleanly to the choruses and bridges. The crowd responds emphatically every time Keith points the mic in their direction and is never more evident than when they start playing “The New Black” which is one of Every Time I Die’s most popular songs. The song begins with vocals and a driving drum beat from Ryan Leger. From the moment Keith start’s singing those first few words to the very end of the song there is not a single soul in the audience that is not singing along and a result you can simply see the joy just emitting from the band’s faces. An incredible experience full of energy from everyone involved.

  • Metal core outfit Every Time I Die do not adopt similar theatrics that some of their contemporaries during their live performance but this does not detract from the intensity of the show. The New York outfit often incorporate elements of southern rock and math core with a synonymously honest and biting lyrical voice which the fans enjoy chanting back with equal snigger.

They have almost fifteen years of experience on the live circuit and have gained huge acclaim for the high energy they invest into every performance. It is pretty impressive to consider as they do not seem to have taken a break from the road over their career apart from to record albums. This has worked in their favour though as the promotion aspect means the fanbase continuously expands meanwhile the material is known well. They end tonight with a double hit of 'Moor' and 'Imitation Is the Sincerest Form of Battery' and the fans simply explode in cheers and applause for this anthemic outfit.

  • An absolutely fantastic band with an amazing support act to boot (The '68).

A nice venue that I hadn't been to before but would happily go to again. Every Time I Die are one of the best bands touring at the minute with a fantastic repertoire of songs to choose from and an energy which is unmatched by any band I have seen in recent years..

Looking forward to seeing them again when they come back to the UK.

  • ETID always puts on an amazing show. They played a diverse set spanning most of their entire catalogue; with tracks off their new album Low Teens as well as songs from their breakthrough album Hot Damn from back in '03 like Ebolarama and Floater. Still crushing it after 18 years. One of my favorite live bands out there.

  • They're incredible. Best live band on the f'in planet. 20 absolute bangers as standard, every set is different, often end the night on stage singing along with dozens of others. Do yourself a favour and go!

  • Great set. Great sound. Great energy! Seen ETID a few times now and this show was by far my favorite. Got to fist bump Andy after the show and Jordan signed my ticket for me. Coolest guys I have ever met!

  • It was fucking incredible. Matched only by their show in a bowling alley last year. A nigh-on religious experience. What do you mean you weren't there? You're a twerp mate, you missed out.

  • Amazing!

These guys know how to move a crowd and how to play a brilliant and killing show and the boat venue has to be one of the best places to see them live. Amazing experience.
