• James Reyne

  James Reyne is another classic case of a member of a classic band going solo and having lots of classic solo singles…or something like that. Whatever the case, formally of the band Australian Crawl, James Reyne’s solo career has been just as fruitful as his former act’s.

  With his classic rock and roll vibes, James always puts on a confident show that would entice even those not familiar with his songs. He sings with the confidence and power of a real student of rock, with a voice that hasn’t lost any of its impact over the years of his career. The songs range from touching ballads, likely to pull a hear string or two, to classic rock and roll goodtime jams, which ignite the crowd into moving and shaking.

  On occasion he’ll even treat fans to a few of Australian Crawl’s classic jams, a real treat for those in the crowd that have been following James since day one, and I imagine there are quite a few of them on any given night. Whatever incarnation he’s appeared in, James has always continued to win over new fans with his performances and I see no reason for that to stop any time soon.

• I was fortunate enough to attend the James Reyne,all the hits concert at The Tivoli Fortitude Valley, Brisbane on Saturday the 29th August 2015.

  This was my first time at the Tivoli and I must say this concert was absolutely brilliant.

  James Reyne has definitely improved with age and his vocals were outstanding with magnificent acoustics (my ears were still ringing 24 hours later, but in a good way)

  James puts a lot into his performance and oozes with real professional and style whilst

  on stage.

  He performed all his hits including a little new stuff that was also inspiring.

  I left this concert thinking where could I see him again in the near future, thats how impressed I was.

  Thanks to James for a great gig and I would highly recommend to anyone that has the opportunity to catch him in concert definitely make the effort, you will not be dissapointed.

  Keep live music alive!

• I have been a fan of James Reyne for 30 years when he started off with Aussie Crawl. Last time I saw him at the Dalrymple Hotel, Townsville about 3 years ago and I notice he is playing here again end of May. Not the best venue, last time it was very badly organised, no seating and 2 hours late in commencing. It would be great to see James perform at a bigger venue here that is so deserving of his talents. Maybe teaming up as he does in Melbourne with other great acts.

• What a night!!!

  I use to listen to James Reyne and Australian crawl as i was growing up , not my choice of music back then as i was only young. Now it takes me back to those days simpler times, great times and being out in the beautiful Goondiwindi to see him was an added bonus to the experience!

  Seeing him on stage with so much enthusiasm and energy was so awesome and if i may say he's looking pretty good

  I will definitely be seeing him again!

• James Reyne and Josh were amazing! The music and that incredible voice were bought to a new life with the acoustic guitar. I felt like he played to me, the setting was so intimate I forgot there were a couple of hundred people with me. Dancing on the inside!! Thanks and love from Alison.(Nothing rhymes with Orange!)

  PS: Buy Sam some shoes!! She too was fantastic!

• Awesome concert. All the Aussie Crawl songs played. Thoroughly enjoyed this concert. The palms is a great venue for concerts. Great value for money as well. Great crowd. Definately will attend again

• Great show from Mark Seymour and James Reyne. They rocked all the classics. And Palms at Crown is an excellent venue, there isn't a bad seat to be had in the house.

• I got the tickets as a gift for mum, he was everything she wished for and more! he was a great singer and very funny. Also, the opening act was fantastic.
