• Paul Thorn

  I highly recommend attending a Paul Thorn show. He is a very gifted songwriter and performer, and the group of musicians in his band are outstanding. Paul interacts with the audience throughout the show, making it a very enjoyable evening of music. It is very easy to relate to the lyrics in his songs, which he seems to easily generate from everyday events that we can all relate to.

  His down-home style and the genuine interest he has in his audience make him among the best I have seen. He really knows how to engage his audience and you walk out of his shows with a smile on your face and a good feeling inside.

  I have seen him several times, both as a solo performer and with his band. Both versions are great and I will continue to attend his shows whenever he is within a couple hundred miles.

  And if you haven't been to a show or there isn't one close by in the near future, my all means, order one (or more) of his CD's or download his music.

• We had seen paul in Minnesota in the spring. We discovered him on the internet, had a blast and loved the music. By chance i was looking at pauls touring dates and he was in new york on my birthday. My husband had not been to new york so I said I would pay! It was so much fun, the venue was awesome and Paul hung out after to sign albums. Needless to say my best birthday ever... he's my new music boyfriend (I told him that). Jonny dep's my movie boyfriend, so he's in good company!

• Paul and the band never disappoint!!!

  Brought a friend that had not heard of Paul and the PTB. She's a new fan! I had no doubt!

  Loved that a young man chose to celebrate his 16th birthday seeing Paul...he knew the words to every song....and Paul's acknowledgment of him....telling him to spread the word to his friend as we old followers would soon be dying off....typical Paul wit and wisdom. He makes folks feel special!

• This was my first time to see Paul Thorn, live. What a great performer. His band was very tight and his lead guitarist was out of this world. Wonderful harmonies from his bass player and other band members.

  Very personable and did a video we us in the crowd and a nice meet and greet afterwards.

  Highly recommend give Paul Thorn a listen. The new Love and War venue in Lindale, Texas was also great.

  Enjoyed myself.

• Excellent show, Paul is always so entertaining. We love his original songs, his show of love for humans and the Earth in general. They had an electrical glitch TWICE during the show. Both times he sent the band off stage, sat down at the edge of the stage and played 3 acoustic songs with his guitar. Great guy, great music, great show.

• Just don't miss this guy! Different from most people you may see Paul Thorn is a special type of entertainer. His heart and humanity are visible in his lyrics to which he adds a ton of humor. Check out some of his stuff on YouTube and you'll get a good picture of this guy. …Paul is a PARTY!

• He just keeps getting better and better. Paul Thorn puts his stories to music like most musicians wish they could - great lyrics with heart and soul.

  He talks to his audience, goes out and mixes with and dances with them/us as well.

  Highly recommend him and his band !

• Great showman, personable and a lot of fun. Knows how to work a crowd, The band was on point and crisp. The small venue was perfect for the band and showcasing Paul Thorn music with his ability to tell stories both in music and prose.

• The concert was great at Threadgills. It was a small intimate setting and felt Paul was up close and personal. He's a fantastic story teller, singer, song writer and his band is Awesome.

• Great concert. I only wish Paul Thorn was the headliner and had more time to play. 30 minutes wasn't nearly enough time. I actually came to the concert to only see Paul Thorn, but Todd Snider was good as well.
