Cash Cash are an American trio, consisting of two brothers: Jean Paul Makhlouf and Alex Makhlouf alongside their friend, Samuel Frisch. They originate from Roseland, New Jersey, USA.
The group of producers, musicians and DJs, create electronic dance music and pop, under the Atlantic Records label.
They originally started life in 2002 under the name "The Consequence", but due to an issue relating to trademarking, the band were left with few options and so changed their name in 2008, to the name we now know them by "Cash Cash".
The name was created by Jean Paul, after the boys were hit left, right and center with legal notices from the original "The Consequence" Since it would seem as if everyone was after their money, Cash Cash became the name that would click with the band and stick with them forever.
Releasing their first album in 2008 under Universal Republic Records; "Take It to The Floor" reached number 31 on the US heat charts and contained many of their songs from the self titled EP "Cash Cash".
AbsolutePunk.net gave the album a rating of 85 percent."Party In Your Bedroom" was released as a single from the album and has received almost two million views on YouTube. The song features a punchy guitar, a vocodor riddled chorus, and the combination, of what can only be described as futuristic synth rock.
To date, the band have toured with many artists of varying genres, showing just how diverse the boys really are, those include: Tyga - who is a rap artist, rock band Metro Station, The White Tie Affair - an electronica ensemble and Forever The Sickest Kids - who are a power pop group, among many more.
The flexibility that Cash Cash bring to the table is very unique, from looking at the acts who they have worked with it's clear that they are very versatile. The music they create, can please those with interests in many different genres, something not many acts could pull off with such grace.
The bands most popular song to date is "Take Me Home" which features Bebe Rexha and is a part of the "OverTime EP". The song has managed to chart in 6 countries and has gone Silver, Gold and Platinum. The song contains an electronic punchy bass, a wide range of synths, and is followed with a climatic chorus and sweet vocals.
This has been the direction of the band since 2010 as they have moved away from their instrumental roots and have started going towards the more electronic style of music, which has become popular since the end of the late 2000's.
The band have worked alongside gaming company "Sega" as they have remixed songs and created originals for the game "Sonic Colors" They have also remixed many songs such as: Lady Gaga - Marry the Night, Bruno Mars - Treasure and Katy Perry - Part Of Me.

Through remixing a number of artists such as: All Time Low, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Calvin Harris and Katy Perry (to name a few) saw them grab the attention of fans from a variety of genres.
Having been a band for a long time, we shouldn’t forget as well as being great DJ’s they also possess incredible musicianship ever more evident on stage. If you think you came to see three guys stood behind a laptop occasionally waving their arms around, you are seriously mistaken. There isn’t a moment when all of them aren’t bouncing up and down the stage, spraying water into the crowd as they play tracks like “Michael Jackson” and “Overtime”. Meanwhile “Take Me Home” their biggest track to date, is a really party starter and enthuses every single member of the crowd as they emulate the club atmosphere wherever they play. Taking the mainstream by storm, Cash Cash are simply unstoppable.
With origins in rock, Cash Cash have done a 360 as a band are now firmly seated in the EDM/dance market. This is considered to be a smart move by the thousands gathered to see one of the most up and coming bands of Ultra Festival. The band has performed across the globe on some of the most prolific dance stages so they take this scene all within their stride.
They are confident in their skills as both musicians and stage performers and balance the musicianship and DJ ability perfectly with the showmanship that is required to keep a crowd dancing all evening. They also have a barrage of hit singles to evoke cheers from the baying masses including 'Overtime', 'Victim Of Love' and their biggest international release to date 'Take Me Home'.
Along with this A material they have also remixed material by some of the biggest names in the industry such as Katy Perry, All Time Low and Kelly Clarkson. They hand pick some of their best to really bring a party for their crowd and leave them under the impression they are very much a band on the rise.
I travelled specifically to see this show. Cash Cash was on my bucket list to see live, and I was absolutely not disappointed one bit! They are epic showmen, and I had the time of my life! The venue could have been better, but only for one reason. During the opening act, a DJ called INZO was mixing and twice during his show he lost power, or connection with his mixer. He was super angry about it, and really ruined the vibe. But he brought it back, I just feel bad for the guy. Overall, I absolutely loved the show, and I had an incredible night!
Cash cash was amazing ! Great show, hype, great music felt great vibes. The only bad part of the night was the venue, I will never go to bed to again. It was all shit faced college students acting a fool and we had to wait outside for over an hour to get in even though we bought tickets a week prior so I missed half of the show !!! But cash cash, keep doing you !!
I always saw Cash Cash being more pop which wouldn't be too exciting for me at an edm club...totally proved me wrong. Had a great time dancing until the very end of their show!
Saw them at Club Rio in San Antonio, Tx and it was my first edm type show. It was beyond awesome! So much fun, music was awesome, atmosphere was awesome. Overall awesome show.
These guys are such a hoot. Crazy antics? You bet cha. Great music? You bet cha. Their show was so much fun and they're always great with their fans, wanting to spend time.
