• Ohio native, Stalley, also known as Kyle Myricks is probably known as much for his distinctive beard as he is for his rapping skills. The easily identifiable MC is a signed to superstar rapper Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group, and you will have probably heard him on various tracks featured in the label’s collaborative “Self Made” albums alongside label mates Wale and Meek Mill. When it comes to his style, Stalley is unashamedly straight up modern day hip-hop, bass heavy boom bap beats laced with lyrics revolving around getting money, bling and cars, delivered through his contrasting nasal flow. It works well for the Myricks as he has five successful mixtapes under his belt, the most recent being “Honest Cowboy”, which spawned his successful single “Swangin’ which features hip hop legend Scarface. Stalley carries over his macho rap bravado to his live shows, wearing a baseball cap and fresh sneakers, it is a no frills affair, just the mc rocking the Mic and the DJ spinning the backing track. That is not a negative thing though, Stalley clearly has knows what he his doing on stage and the audience are appreciative.

  While Stalley hasn’t been in the UK since his 2011 European tour, where he played one show in Shoreditch, London, he is currently gearing up for the release of his studio debut album “Ohio” so you can assume that he’ll be performing on these shores sometime soon.

• This was my 2nd time seeing Stalley. Awesome Show. Beanie was amazing too and that was a first time seeing him. Love Love Love shows at the grog shop. Can't wait till the next one!
