Gucci Mane may not be as well-known as some other rap artists out there, but he has his own unique sound and his own unique flow that sets him apart from other rappers today. He never seems to take himself too seriously as he performs and unlike other rap artists he chooses to wear ordinary clothing with no noticeable jewelry.
In between each song that he performed he would stop and let the crowd let go of their emotions and tell him what they were feeling and he would use this to then decide which song he would sing next. The crowd would respond to this by dancing and yelling at the moments when he asked them too.
The venue was a little difficult to get to because of the traffic, but once I got there it was easy to find a parking space. I did think that ticket prices were a little too high for what it was, but the ease of parking and finding a position close to the stage more than made up for that.
Unlike other venues that I have been to before, this particular venue had no strict rules and people routinely videotaped his performances of songs and were never asked to leave the venue. This sort of lean policy made it feel very friendly and it is one of those things that makes me want to see Gucci Mane perform live more often.
I am a huge Gucci fan and traveled two and a half hours to see his show. The venue attendant was unable to direct us to our seats, forcing us to stand.
There was a DJ and a hype man to keep the crowd going since the acts did not come out til about 1030 ( show was supposed to start at 8 p.m.) OT Genasis came out and performed a few of his hits.
Gucci finally came out around 11 p.m. and seemed very happy to be there. He performed many of his old hits, even asking the crowd what song they would like to hear. The only song he performed off his two new albums was first day out Tha feds.
He was probably only on stage for a total of 40 minutes, performing Snip-Its of songs.
The show was great, but too short and I was disappointed he did not do more of his new hits.
Venue was unprofessional
Don’t waste your money on gucci mane tickets! He might not even show up. He came to Myth 4 hours late, 30 mins before the venue closed, and did not even perform. He stood in a closed off section and sipped some water for the remainder of the night. It was super disrespectful. So many people paid a lot of money to see a performance and he clearly didn’t care. NEITHER of the artists that were supposed to be there performed. Super disappointing.
Providence amphitheatre is a joke will never go back missed gucci completely and went for him, show was delayed for the rain but staff told us it was a wrap, we left and drove 45 mins home after waiting an hr and then they say oh it's gonna happen after all, yea after they told us to leave
This was my first concert experience i didn't like. It wasn't 1 opening act rapper i heard of, i usually know them. I think it was all local chi rappers Im not from Chicago. I think they used gucci as a trick to bait people. Then gucci was good but he only did like 7 songs.
Gucci put on a great show. Dreezy was a fantastic opener and was super hype. Gucci sounded great live, had good energy, and was super lit. He did a good mix of his old and new stuff, but unfortunately did not touch on his Woptober album which is my favorite. Great show!
The fact that Gucci did not come out and perform till 3am ruined my entire night. Show starts at 10 doors open at 9 my ass! I was subjected to watch a talent show I didnot sign up for, for 4 entire hours! Hideous, unbelievable to say the least.
Ticket alert stating doors open at 5:30 and show starts at 6:30. No one was on stage until 7:30 and Gucci Mane didn’t go on until after 9pm. Only performed an hour.
Underwhelming and too much waiting for nothing spectacular. Disappointing.
Could of been a better show. Just after waiting for whole 3 hours, he just performed for 1. He was gud first 3 sounds then he literally sound like the horrible performers before him who opened the show . Needs to do wayyyyy better.
The entire show was amazing. Weeknd killed!!!!!! 11/10 Nav Gucci and Weeknd performed their asses off. Best show Ive been too amd this was the second time I saw this yet still amazed!!!
