  It's so special to see pure talent beginning to blossom and luckily I am barely in the Islington Assembly Halls when Anoushka Lucas takes her spot in the support slot. It is a real treat as she offers a unique sound and a number of self penned songs including 'Brixton Hill'. Despite initial shyness it is clear that the audience have warmed to her and she has done her job very well by the close of her set. I am ready for Avery. Having seen and reviewed Ms Sunshine twice before I feel confident that she will deliver. I am ready to be entertained and she is more than able to satisfy. The whole gig drips of quality, truth and oozes with pure soul. This gig is the first time that the songs from the new cd 'the Sunroom' get the full band treatment as well as the classic favourites from the first cd. Tonight between snippets of Anita, Gladys, Maroon 5 and the acoustic Luretha Jackson medley encore we get Avery and that is so damn good that at times I find it hard to control myself. I am swept away in her Sunshine movement. She makes me smile in the knowledge that reminiscence is a beautiful thing when she sings 'Pining' and I really don't care who knows it! Each song showcases the most amazing vocal performance that I have witnessed since she was last here....but tonight Avery moves way beyond that first time and is even more accomplished. I am happy to hear that she is in Love and this shines through when she moves to the Grand Piano and tells us what this means on 'Nothing into Something' and 'Call My Name'. It reminds me of her support slot for Anthony David at the Jazz Cafe a few years back and her rendition of 'Ugly Part of Me'. I often watch that on You Tube as I was there and it shone as a moment with a truly sincere, soulful storyteller. Tonight the whole gig was chock full of moments. I really do not think I could have whooped harder or louder. She is outstanding on 'Safe in His Arms'; 'See You When I Get There' is wonderfully accepting of each persons different journey in this big old world and beautifully served with relish. An evening in the company of a truly beautiful, genuine star that shines like Ms Sunshine is a happening that all of London needs to experience. Even as I write this it is with pure tears of joy.....happiness....optimism....love....love....love...'Won't You Try Love'....thanks Avery xx.

• Avery Sunshine, was a totally awesome show that truly revived that my spirit! Earlier in the day of the gig I was having a bad day and nothing was going right, but Avery's high energy performance and very positive outlook changed my gloomy disposition to total happiness. Avery Sunshine is the real deal with a beautiful true and crisp voice that doesn't need the studio help or background vocalist carrying the performance, for you can definitely see the musical training she has had and the gospel background. I have been waiting for Avery Sunshine to come to the Detroit area, but when I found out the she was coming to Evanston, Illinois, I immediately purchased a ticket. From her last CD I could tell that she was very talented, but if you want a true Neo-Soul/Gospel experience you have to go an see her in person. By time I was so blown away by her God given talent and beautiful personally, I just keeping mumbling to wow, wow, wow! What stands out the most about Avery Sunshine is not just her pure vocal talent, but that she is grateful and very humble to her audience and fans. So if Ms. Avery Sunshine is coming to a city near you, purchase your tickets quickly and sit back an enjoy the Sunshine!

• What a ray of sunshine she was! Entering the stage full of energy and warmth, making the audience feel like they wrre hanging out with a friend. Her conversations were free flowing and personable and she looked remarkably radiant. But the most amazing thing about her was the voice. Rich and smooth like velvet and dripping over you like honey, it gave me goosebumps all over. Switching from an electronic keyboard and a grand piano she opted to play new material and even a song she wrote for her recent nuptials. The only thing I was waiting for but never materialised was her singing a full version of "Sweet Afternoon", my personal favourite, however she did a rendition mixing the lyrics at the of another song. Avery certainly managed to keep Streatham shining and the audience including myself were left glowing. Thanks for an unforgettable night!

• What an awesome concert!! Avery played at the Jazz Cafe, Camden, London on Friday & to be honest from the moment she came on stage I was mesmerised. Her natural charm & beauty was just overflowing & her voice begs belief. I was with a some friends & we all kept saying - 'how come we're only just seeing her now !?!' she is definitely one of the world's best kept secrets - but once discovered never to be forgotten. I've bought her cd (you have to support the cause afterall!); added her to my spotify account; Youtube her & now writing a review to tell others GO & DISCOVER HER - If you like a voice with depth, intensity & words which convey emotion & a soulful beat you will not be disappointed. Avery Sunshine: grace & beauty in music personified - thank you Lord!

• Her show was amazing!! I had hoped to hear her with full band accompaniment. But the band wasnt missed as her and her new husband ripped through her set of original material while musically paying homage to other great r&b pioneers such as Aretha, Gladys, Luther and Michael to name a few.

  She is an extremely gifted musician. I did not expect to see her accompany herself on the keys..... But she did! And, from the perspective of another keyboardist, she did it quite well.

  There was a funny moment where she checked a couple of audience members who decided to conversate loudly during her set. She even did that with style and grace and humor.

  Over all, I thoroughly enjoyed the show, though 730 is a little early in a Tuesday night....

• In the infamous BOTW, sunlight brightened a rainy Manchester.

  A breathe of freshly made American sounds performed some of her music to a small audience who appreciated what she had to offer.

  A cracking, heartfelt performance, enjoyed by all lucky enough to have been there

  Glad we didn't miss this one.

• Ms.Sunshine star power has definitely ascended..She has taken her performance abilities to the next level..She always had the talent and of course a beautiful soulful voice..now her stage performance has equaled her abilities.A must see whenever she is town..

• Avery Sunshine was awesome at the summer block concert. She did not have ample time to sing (she was cut off abruptly). She had true talent and is gifted with her singing abilities as well as her charisma. Great artist to see again!

• Concert has been postponed til further notice in Cedar Park, Tx, but I would still recommend seeing her. She was awesome at Club Tequila in Houston. Her voice is incredible, I just know I am ready to see her again. I'm a fan from here on out.
