• Peter Broderick is a highly talented multi-instrumentalist, having mastered the guitar, piano, violin, mandolin, banjo AND the musical saw. He has found success as a session musician, part of the Danish group Efterklang and as a solo artist. It is amazing that he still has time to tour the entire world to perform his songs to his fans.

  As corny as it sounds, it is absolutely wonderful to watch Peter Broderick perform his live shows, mainly because he showcases so much of his talents as an instrumentalist, as well as a singer. His stage is completely filled with instruments and at some point or another he plays all of them. From the beautiful “Begin” which features his violin playing, to “I’ve Tried” which he puts together through the use of a looper. The passion with which he plays is extremely emotional to watch, because he is completely lost in his playing. Or, when he is between songs switching instruments or tuning them up, he speaks to the crowd, in a very quirky yet soft spoken way. When you watch him, every little thing he does from the moment he walks on to that stage, there is never any doubt of how great of an artist he is.

• These new songs i hadn't listened to before were a beautiful idyosincratic combination of easy listening to good old peter broderick experimental and post rock to smooth rock; and blues and soul. and soul shattering here and there, at least for me. i wasn't dancing extrovertedly, i was in my place, hunched a little, taking it all in, listening to peter's wise reflections and i wish the lights had been switched off at some point when he asked. i had this immense desire at some point to just lay down in the middle of the stage while they were playing. The venue made for a great atmospehere and there was a silent intimacy in the air as peter encouraged us all to sing along to colours of the night, and as he danced in the middle of the crowd and as we all laughed at the ridiculousness of unresposnive gear or odd sounds and awkward movements. They came back for an encore and they played all the songs they knew how to play together. Peter broderick and his amazing band, everybody.

• This is what music is all about!

  A singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist that touches your soul and makes your mind wander outside itself!

  Such a simple and nice guy, if you have the chance to go hear him live don't waste the opportunity!

  His guest musician/friend was David Allred that was a massive surprise and yet another addition to talented good musicians to keep an eye on.
