  I originally saw Jamie Lawson when he was opening for Vance Joy (at the 1st Bank Center near Denver). Not only does he write and sing beautiful songs while accompanying himself on the guitar, but he has an engaging personality and freely tells a bit of a story about each song before singing it. His performance was so memorable that I of course immediately purchased his most recent CD. He had mentioned at the end of his set that he would be playing in Denver again at the Lost Lake Lounge on May 6th, so I was prepared to buy tickets when they went on sale. I also found when I had gotten onto the internet at home that this Vance Joy tour was headed to Northern California and Jamie would be opening there as well. I had a trip planned to see Rihanna that weekend so I bought tickets for Jamie at the Fox Theatre in Oakland on Friday and Saturday nights over there.

  I had not been to the Lost Lake Lounge before. Very very tiny club on Colfax in Denver. Jamie came on at about 8 pm and played a full hour set. Again, he is such a likeable charming guy who is immensely talented. Very smooth voice...beautifully accompanying himself on the guitar...and it was a relaxed evening of his music. He played a few songs from his first and second albums, which I had not heard before. Jamie seemed so comfortable on stage and with his adoring audience. He muffed one of the songs from his early album and stopped...laughed....and started it over. Very human moment that says a lot about a fellow who is already a star but destined to become as big as his record label "boss", Ed Sheeran.

  Listen to Jamie's albums. If you like his recorded music, you will definitely love his live performances.

• I first became aware of Jamie Lawson when he supported Ed Sheeran. I was really impressed with his singing and song writing and went straight out to buy his album. It was the acoustic simplicity that I really admired.

  Imagine my disappointment when I saw him a year later at O2 Academey Birmingham 16.10.16 with a huge band. Jamie had changed so much in a year and in my opinion fame has ruined what he had. The sound was awful! The band was far to loud and the venue really didn't suit his style. Such was my disappointment that we left at 10pm.

  However Jamie's support Callum Scott was brilliant.

  Please Jamie remember what made you successful and go back to your roots! From now on I'll stick with Jamie's CD but certainly will not bother seeing him live again.

• What a great Concert in Frankfurt wit the startup Sobi, a very Talented beautiful and likeable young lady ..then next Singer Ryan Keen , the Main reason i went to this Concert was just very awesome ...and then Jamie Lawson , i did not really know much about him ..But he was also very amazing ..just a plain really great awesome Concert ..Loved it all <3

• It was an incredible show, Jamie's performance was outstanding, he played a good variety of older and new songs, the staging and lighting were very nice and fit the atmosphere. Jamie was also incredibly lovely and, after his encore, jumped down at the front of the stage at the end of the show to take photos with fans and sign autographs, which was largely appreciated by the audience

• This was the 3rd time I’ve seen Jamie but his first proper concert (the first 2 were him as a support act) and it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. He’s funny, he’s an amazing singer, he gets the audience involved and he’s so grateful - I even got to meet him after the show! Would highly recommend to anyone considering seeing him, I know I will be again soon!

• What can I say, Jamie Lawson was amazing.this was my second time seeing him and have since booked to see him again in October.This man is very talented and he engages with his audience. I would encourage more people to go and see him perform live as I can't state enough how wonderful and talented his music is.

• Jamie and the support acts where all absolutely fantastic! The venue was nice, unfortunately there was a large group of audience members at the back left of the hall that were talking almost constantly throughout the concert, and making a lot of noise which was quite disruptive.

• Amazing show. Really enjoyed it. The only thing that spoilt it was the idiots downstairs constantly chatting whose obvious intention was just to drink beer and natter..... why do people like that even bother going to gigs. No appreciation of really good music or talent at all.

• Jamie Lawson is an incredible song writer and singer. He has a beautiful voice that commands attention yet he is very humble and has a great sense of humor. His songs tell a story and touch your heart. If you haven't seen him live. I strongly suggest that you do. He will not disappoint!
