  When has a concert at the Zoo by Dave Koz not been good! And for Dave to bring Rick Braun to Minnesota so we could enjoy his fantastic horn was not to be missed.

  Despite the humidity and heat, Rick pounded out hit after hit, bringing his soulful, jazzy tunes to life on the stage. His salute to Jeff Golub left all feeling very thoughtful and missing the person he saluted so well.

  Thanks, Rick, for coming to Minnesota! Hope we showered you with enough love to make you want to come back :) And thanks, Dave Koz, for making it another eventful summer concert not to be missed! You always bring us the best!!!

• Houston was treated to some great Jazz this weekend. The show was packed with some excellent talent and it showed. Rick was outstanding as usual and loved that he shared some of his new tunes. Norman Brown was on fire and was very entertaining to watch. His fingers just flew across the fretboard with ease. And the icing on the cake was Richard Elliott and his awesome sax. Loved that he introduced some new songs from his album. The West Coast Jam was a great show and being on father's day was just an added bonus.

• He was absolutely phenomenal!!! His energy, his music and his interaction with the audience made it a memorable show. The opening musician and his band were excellent. Hes on his way to being one of the greats.

  It was my first time at the Loewe’s. I like it! There is no bad seat in the place. You can see and enjoy the show from wherever you sit.

• Rick was always moving and urgent in his horn, sorta kept it moving. Richard Elliott kept the crowd involved and was "instrumental" with notes and sounds", that he brought to the table for the meal. Norman Brown was the icing in and on the cake, that had repercussions of Wes Montgomery, the sound of the guitar being played by Brown shook the house. Best Jazz concert in this area for a while!!!!

• Rick is a talented musician and has never disappointed his audience. I have seen him many times in Florida and will continue to be a loyal fan. Thanks to Jay Rowe for assembling the great talents we enjoyed last evening in Milford and it was a great program that helps provide instruments to the budding talents of these students. Can't wait for the next concert.

• Rick Braun and his band, as always did NOT disappoint!!! They were outstanding. I so enjoy his entertainment and he knows how to work the crowd. They performed over 2 full hours and there was never a dull moment!!!
