  • Jack Garratt

Jack Garratt at The UEA Norwich On the 12 of April 2016. If you thought Ed Sheeran's one man band was great, Garratt turns it into something else with his electro sound and his stunning voice. You truly Jack is going to pass out any second but he's like a non stop machine, playing the Keyboard, Guitar and drums all in the same song without any moments of break. His song fire had the whole crowd having a mosh pit which his genre of music is impossible to think but he makes it work, this man was born to be on the stage playing to thousands of people and thats where hes going to stay for a long while .Between songs he giggles with the crowd by saying he went to this venue to see people like you have with me but whos payed you storaking his beard and, when one member of the audience said your manager he burst into laughter. Moments like that make fans see the true sense of humour within this great man. He also thanked everyone from the bottom of this heart, he's not going to go anywhere in fact hes going to get bigger and bigger. The best Gig I have to at the UEA in my top 4 Artish I have seen and I have seen over 75 8.8/10 only.negative thing was crew of UEA didnt hand out water but postive thing is offical merch was cheap T-shirt for£10 and Jumpers £20 when I have seen them for other artish being (T-shirts) £20_£25 and jumpers being £40.

  • I hadn't seen Jack Garratt perform before so had no idea what to expect. Right from the off he catches you off guard as you try to work out where the rest of the band is. The man's a musical octopus, simultaneously playing and switching between drums, guitar, keyboards, all the while fiddling with a myriad of technical equipment, all seamlessly done.

He admitted to pushing the boat out this time around, employing the services of not one but (count em) two backing vocalists, whilst still refusing to share instrumental duties, choosing to keep all the bashing, twanging and plinking/plonking to himself, which he does amazingly.

He also proved himself to be a bit of a showman too, having fun with the crowd, teasing the 5000-strong throng to the point of no return, as he played (and withdrew from) some classic drum and/or guitar-based intros.

I did at one point during his set wonder if he hadn't possibly spent too much time watching that Dick Van Dyke scene in Mary Poppins where 'Bert' is earning a living as a one-man-band; Jack has taken this on to a whole new level (although I was disappointed somewhat by the lack of harmonica - maybe for album two?) and delivered a huge sounding solo performance (with some fancy-pants lighting too) that clearly shows he's destined for even bigger things.

  • One of the best concerts I've been to! Although it didn't seem so on the outside, the inside of the venue was beautiful and the staff were very nice. We managed to have a great view in the second row after not queuing for that long at all. Jack Garratt was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and the crowd was full of his mega Jack Garratt-loving fans including myself so the atmosphere was great. Couldn't recommend seeing him live more. The support act 'Seramic' were also very good. Wish I was going to another Jack Garratt concert this weekend!!

  • One of the best shows I attended this year !

Jack Garratt may be alone on stage, he looks like he is five ! He speaks a lot with the crowd, laughs, rearranges his songs, ... The show was short ("Guys, you can't boo me 'cause I'm playing my last song, you know I only have 5 songs"), very intense (because of what happened in Paris), very funny (this man is amazing!) and very generous (all the profits of the merchandising are going to the Red Cross due to the attacks).

A future star, for sure !

  • Loved the opening act by "Contact" the group from Boston. They were original, had their own style and rocked out! This was the best concert I've ever been to, Jack Garrat was phenomenal. His vocals were astonishing, his talent for instruments were captivating and his wittiness was likable.Overall he seemed like a lovable artist, very down to earth and is a showcase of great talents, most definitely a exciting performer. I'd like for him to have more concerts in NYC, ever song was amazing!

  • One man band Jack Garratt is a must see, I first saw Jack Garratt live in 2013 to now seeing him winning brit awards and being played on Radio 1 I am confident this year will be his year. He plays with passion and intensity that the normally rowdy Glasgow crowd becomes transfixed and attentive. Remixing Justin Timberlake and Craig David's '7 days' really does work... who knew! Jack Garratt might not be to everyone taste but those with good taste will love him.

  • where to start!

how about I describe it this way...all in one song, jack manages to sing/play the keyboard/drum/and shred on a guitar in the most passionate way possible, while maintaining a composed stage presence. He's a one man army and a musical force to be reckoned with! what an opener to one of the best bands in the business, Two door cinema club. Looking forward to when he graces the tabernacle with his presence again headlining his own show!

  • Amazing gig, such a humble, down to earth guy. Great to hear some new songs, felt like we were getting an exclusive especially as asked to put our phones away (which was strange but actually made the night more enjoyable). Loved his new music but was nice to hear two of his own ones. He definitely has more than two fans despite him thinking otherwise. Really related to what he was talking and singing about. Amazing show.

  • Amazing artist, extremely talented. One of the best live performances I've ever been to! Can't wait till he comes back to LA so I can see him again. His stage presence is fantastic and his voice is incredible. He keeps the audience glued to him from start to finish, with each person in awe of his remarkable musical gifts. DEFINITELY go to see Jack Garratt if you get the chance. You will not regret it.

  • This show was AMAZING! The Belasco is a very nice theater and the night started with Brasstracks pumping up the crowd with good music and then Jack Garratt killing it since the beginning. He was flawless in the execution of every song, he did some covers, interacted with the crowd and even cried from joy as people sang his song! Definitely one of the best concerts I've ever been to!
