Exceptional. Nothing else needs to be said.
Being full of cold and a tortuous 19 hour journey to the gig, the late start did nothing to dent the enthusiasm and energy of the band. Superb performance with songs from both previous albums plus three excellent tracks from the as yet unreleased third album. Kris and the band were all in fine form and really got the crowd going with their unique brand of blues.
The band’s popularity became evident after the gig with the merchandise stand being inundated with punters buying up CDs and the resurgent vinyl. Kris made a very welcome appearance posing for photos and signing items.
A great night.
The Kris Barras Band isn’t one for the future, they’re here now and they rock!
Kris Barras & Josiah J Manning The Duo acoustic set when supporting Beth Hart at Brighton was brilliant. I have only ever seen him with the full band and the full electric experience, which indeed is amazing. So it was wonderful to hear the stripped down and up close and personal with Kris & Josiah now all I need to do is to see the Supersonic Blues Machine and I will have seen all his skills.
No one could be disappointed in what ever form you see them, just go and get to hear two wonderfully talented guitarists, and Kris with his wonderful enigmatic rough vocal and Josiah with his multi musical skills.

The Kris Barras Band once again did not disappoint. Energetic and relentless from the start, kicking off with the title track from the new album, Light It Up. From there it was an endless rollercoaster of rock and blues, fast and slow, happy and sad.
Kris did a meet and greet following the encore happy to sign merch and have photos taken with fans.
A great way to spend a Thursday night. Thank you Kris.
Great show , can't fault the artists that played . Not the best venue though , Kris Barras , Dan Patlansky and Walter trout all brilliant .......... get well soon Mollie Mariott .
Saw the band in Dundee last night. They were brilliant. Kris is a very skilled musician & showman. I hope he comes back to Dundee again as would definitely go & see him again
