I became a fan of Beacon randomly through Spotify. I have been obsessed with them ever since. I listen to a lot of music of all different genres, and they are something special. I am now an even bigger fan after last night's show at Soda Bar, and a fan for life. They put on a killer performance along with a great light show. I was mesmerized and intoxicated for every single second of it. I have turned many friends onto this group and I want everyone to know how amazing they are. I hope the whole world discovers them and they become as famous as they deserve to be. Great show, great night, and cannot wait until they come back to San Diego.
Saw Beacon at the Zebulon on Dacember 11,18. I am very glad they came to LA!!! Almost missed this show. So glad I was able to buy the tickets a day before. I have been a huge fan for prob 4 years now. The very first time I heard them, took me to a whole different world. I love their sound and the vibe they put out there.They sound soooooo good live! I really do hope they come back to LA or Las Vegas even. I will go out of my way to see every single show that I can!
Saw Beacon at Rickshaw Stop in SF on Dec 12. In addition to Thomas and Jacob, there was a drummer, who added depth to their sound. Twice during the performance Thomas gave the drummer some well-deserved praise.
Most of the songs were from Gravity Pairs, While I found the newer stuff interesting, it didn't grip me the way "The Ways We Separate" did. Still, it was a good show, with a great light show as well.
i love seeing these guys live. Their sound translates fantastically in their live performance. Thomas's soft echoy whispered vocals are perfectly balanced with Jacob's dark dream-like synths and drums. Live, their sound wraps around my heart, gently squeezing past pains into a warm energy that fills the space around us. If you like their recorded material, you will love them live. these two are magic onstage.
Absolutely loved their live show! I'm such a fan of their music and the lead singer's voice sounds just the same live. Very cool performance they sound great, good energy and can't wait to see them again!!!
