  Great show, great band.

  These guys definitely deserve better/bigger venues (no offense Backstage Halle) -they also spent some time with fans having a drink, signing autographs and taking pictures.

  Must also be mentioned the very nice opening act by Boniface.

• I went to the April show at The Roundhouse in Camden, my first time at the venue. Vistas kicked off the show with their high energy tunes and that got a mosh pit going early doors, they’re a great band and one I’d highly recommend. They were followed by The Night Cafe, whose music I do like, but they’re a bit more low key and in my opinion should have opened the show, with the Vistas then taking things up a notch.

  By the time Circa Waves came on, the place had really filled up. They played a great set, cherry picking from their more uptempo tracks, which was just as well I think as they had to keep the energy going that Vistas created. The crowd lapped it up and there was plenty of jumping and moshing going on, unfortunately there were a lot of drinks being thrown which can be really annoying. There were some gig goers that clearly don’t get out much, I had a couple behind me that were getting fed up because I kept backing in to them, but to be fair, I was just jumping with the crowd and sometimes you can’t avoid bumping into people, and if this bothers you, then you should stand further back, this stuff happens at gigs grandad.

  Overall, great gig and I’d recommend going to see them.

• An epic gig! However, Circa Waves crowds are notoriously wild and instead of moshing there are quite a few moments of just pushing. Music was amazing though, the supports were incredible in themselves and the venue is great. All in all, would definitely recommend Circa Waves!
