• Heavy beats, pulsing staccatos, and dreamy vocals (occasionally a result of autotune) ascertain the unique dual personality of Gemini, definitive as the young DJ Thomas Slinger’s alias.

  The type of momentum that builds gradually over a short period of time (think Graduation, with its surprisingly romantic build from classical piano), Gemini’s style of unique electro dance envelops you throughout his gigs. A mix of dubstep and drum and bass, the genre’s characteristic thumping– undeniably the direction most of his tracks turn– provides the ultimate outlet for concertgoers to elicit some physicality.

  His range of tracks, from 2011’s more musically diverse Graduation EP, through to 2012’s electro-pierced and chaotic Fire Inside, offer just enough variety to provide the occasional reflection before heaving the audience into an electronic rage. Remixes of tracks by Ellie Goulding, Ed Sheeran, Lana Del Ray, and Drake give a mainstream point of reference to balance some of his lesser known endeavours.

  Enigmatic, frantic, and all at once melodic, Gemini’s the perfect artist to venture into club heavy nights, albeit never straying too far from a musicality that ties his styles together. While he’s currently not on tour, Gemini can typically be found at club nights and festivals.
