Rudimental are originally a four-piece from East London’s Hackney, but in their live shows that core songwriting quartet is expanded with a drummer, trumpet player and three backing singers, including various special guest appearances (including Emile Sandé, Lianne Le Havas, among others, but these seem to vary from gig to gig). Their collectiveness and positivity are infectious right from the beginning, even before hitting the stage you can tell the anticipation among the crowd is through the roof. Their set is great to see live, the course their music has charted is like a journey through the last two or so decades of dance music, which could make for a ramshackle of odds and ends (there’s rave, drum’n’bass, transitional blasts of reggae and house, all kicked along with the cheerful and rowdy interjections of MC and hype-man DJ Locksmith), but is actually very cohesive, their performances are accomplished, and all this is compounded with their undeniable positive energy, charisma, and stage presence, which some would say isn’t typically thought of as ‘urban’, but it works! Rudimental’s shows, which are bringing in ever greater and diverse audiences given their continuous and meteoric rise, are like benign underground parties that nobody wants to miss out on. Highly recommended.
Amazing show. Rudimental created truly captivating, almost festival-like vibes with this show. It was fun, energetic and happy. Everybody rocked the stage, included some superb individual performances from musical talents playing the trumpet, saxophone, bass and a wonderfully eclectic array of impressive singers. They ended the main part fantastically with a break down at the end of one of their most well-known songs "Feel The Love", leaving the stage with the crowd still singing the chorus a capella, before returning for one final blast with "Waiting All Night" and "These Days". The show in Munich was superb. For a good party Rudimental is one of the rare banks today. Although the location is one of my favourites, the sound had been on the edge. Quite unfair volume for the vocals. They were lost often enough. Overall I wonder, why concerts have to get louder and louder. I don't expect HiFi-sound, but this volume does nothing for the quality. Anyway - Rudimental delivered an unbelievable show and we had a great time - regardless the infernal volume.
Well where should I start.
The venue was amazing ( Alexandra Palace).
We all got through the doors really fast, the staff were fabulous..plenty of bars, plenty of staff so no queuing.
Loads of room to dance.
Rudimental..best band in the world were amazing. Engaging with the crowd..fantastic vibes. Spectacular show.
I wish I could go again tonight.
The only thing I found disappointing was there wasnt any Rudimental merchandise on sale.
My first time every seeing Rudimental live, and holy shit, pardon my french but they were infuckincredible! so so so sooo good. Everything about their performance was magical. The singing, the dancing, the playing, the duo's, the solo's, the EVERYTHING. I will always make sure to watch them any time they come around again. I promise you that. Did I mention how good they were? SO GOOOOOOD.
I first saw Rudimentary in Thetford forest a few years ago and I have never been to such an amazing live performance. Everything about them was amazing, the atmosphere was electric, the light show's were incredible and their live band were awesome! Rated this night 10 out of 10....go and see this band if you ever get the chance.
#Awesome show as promised - super-fun festival vibes with a DnB edge - loved it and the unexpected additions to the lineup were fantastic ... Sam Smith, Jess Glynne, Tom Watts absolutely amazing. if you haven't already seen them .. GO! You will not be disappointed and you will come out smiling!
Absolutely awesome, I would highly recommend seeing Rudamental. There stage presence was larger than life. They all take turns playing different instruments and singing .... I loved it. All there big songs were played and there new music was also great.
What a nice show, music was amazing, we need more shows like this in Brussels and definitely next time i'm going there again...
