Austin Mahone (born 4 April 1996) is a pop singer/songwriter, performer and teen sensation hailing from Texas, US whose foray into stardom began in 2010.
In the age of social media taking precedence in new music discovery, in 2010 Mahone began his career through uploading covers onto YouTube with best friend Alex Constancio and over the next couple of years the youngster would work relentlessly as he rapidly built a solid online following. His cover of Justin Bieber’s “Mistletoe” in 2011 clocked up views well into the thousands.
In 2012, Mahone self-released his debut single “11:11” on iTunes and it wasn’t long before he caught the attention of label Chase/Universal Republic Records. On 28 August 2012 it was officially announced that Mahone had signed with the label and a few days later released his second single “Say Somethin’” which reached number 34 in Billboard’s Pop Songs chart.
The following year he released his self-titled debut EP featuring Flo Rida, Sean Garratt and Becky G and MTV championed him as the Artist to watch as he accumulated numerous accolades. Later that year Mahone joined Taylor Swift on her Red tour as the opening act.
In 2013, Mahone embarked on his first headline tour in conjunction with MTV’s Artist to Watch Tour playing in ten cities across the country and supported by: Becky G, Midnight Red, W3 The Future and Alex Angelo, playing for audiences of up to 3,000.
With the hype in full swing, he returned in 2014 with his second EP “Secret” heavily influenced by pop heavyweights N Sync and Backstreet Boys. This release allowed Mahone the opportunity to work with Pitbull on the track “Mmm Yeah” and experiment with a more mature R&B infused pop sound. The single subsequently went gold and peaked at number 49 in the US charts. In August 2014, Mahone headed out on his second nationwide headline tour lasting just over two months as he ventured into South America for the final stretch of tour.

Then he turned and looked straight in my eyes and said love you too then I lost it I took off running to my sister crying. Austin got in the car and left it was always a dream for me to sit down and just hang with Austin and talk to him or oh my gosh The Yrs are amazing I love all of them they are just so amazing I wanna meet them again when they have there own tour that's awesome hopefully I can make a song in the future with Austin Mahone and The Yrs it would be epic cause I'm trying to get famous so that would be awesome anyway it was an amazing night loved it.
I've seen Austin perform 3 separate times and each time he just keeps getting better and better! This show was absolutely amazing. You could tell how much effort was put into this show by the way the stage was set up and the choice of opening acts (Shawn Mendes, Fifth Harmony, and The Vamps were all really cool because they all had different styles of music they were singing so it was never boring). When Austin performs though it's awsome. He has 6 backup dancers and he is all over the stage and he still manages to sound like and angel. He also brought one of his best friends Robert on stage to sing a song with him which is so sweet. I think I would have to say my favorite part of the show is when he does a couple songs accustic because it's just him and his guitar. On the other hand when he brings out the U Girl it's really cool because you can see how much he appreciates his fans. I love seeing Austin Mahone in concert because he just gets so into the songs at some points he looks like hes about to cry. I said this during the concert but I wish he could sing me to bed every night because that would be the best thing in the whole intire world. Thank you Austin for making evey time I see you so amazing,
Austin Mahone is one the rising pop song artists of the era. It appeals to the youth and especially teenage girls, but both the male and female youth generation would get a kick out of his songs.
The concert in February of 2014 was one to remember and it was a crowded one. Austin Mahone along with his performers around him were truly great and very fun to watch. The way he incorporated the crowd into his songs is amazing. Most artists just get up on stage and sing, but Austin Mahone was different.
For example in his song U Girl which he sung, he pulled a girl from the crowd and sung to her the whole song. It was an amazing experience for her and it also was amazing for the crowd as well.There wasn't too much lighting involved and that surprisingly made it a little better. It was especially a great live experience and the way the crowd got into it also made the concert experience much more better.
The dancing by the performers and the voice of Austin Mahone singing live also made it so much more the better. All I have to say is mmm Yeah, mm Yeah.
The concert was amazing. This was my second time seeing him and this time was so much better. We were in the 5th line and the first time we were so much far. The only thing that didn't like me was that he came out like at 11:00 pm and we had to go to school the next day but everything else was amazing. The songs, the dancers, the interaction between the crowd and him, everything. He was on tour with Mario Bautista and Drake Bell and I gotta say that Drake was so good too. I wasn't into his music but he was pretty good. I really enjoyed it. I loved the show and definitly if Austin comes to Mexico again I'm going to see him.
Austin Mahone was AMAZING! from his singing to his dancing it was full out perfect! I would do anything to go see another and I'm definately going next time he comes back around! Fifth Harmony, Shawn Mendes, and the vamps were also amazing! I will never forget austin mahones performances! whether it was slow or fast songs, austin really put on an outstanding show! the show put chills I'm my back it was so good! And when he picks a girl to be the 'u girl,' it's so adorable! I wouldn't miss his next show when he comes back for the world! I LOVE AUSTIN MAHONE!
Ive never have been to one of his concerts but I am praying that I can go to one this year I'm 16 And hes been the live of my life since I was 8 my mother thinks I'm crazy but I'm not I hope I can go to the one at the state fair in October 7 I love him so much and hipe to meet him I pray to God my parents will let me go ive been working my rear end off so I can go to that concert of anyone were to donate tickets to me I would MOST DEFINITELY love them forever hoping and praying since I was 8 years old I love you Austin!
OMG amazing show. Austin was amazing and so were The Vamps, Fifth Harmony, and of course Shawn Mendes. They all did amazing and when Austin was about to close the show and everyone started yelling no so he gave us another song. Yass. I loved it and am absolutely and completely totally in love with Austin Mahone. I'd so go to another concert definitely. Amazing show he performed here in Las Vegas.

My daughter has been following Austin and been to a number of his concerts over the years, so I treated her to his Fort Lauderdale show while we were vacationing in Florida.
Fun-filled, high energy, enjoyable night. She is hoping to catch his Detroit show too. See ya again soon, Austin!
The show was amazing, the remixes of his songs were amazing. He kept the crowd dancing nonstop. He's such an amazing artist and such an amazing human being I hope he comes back to Boston soon.
