Chris Tomlin is another Christian rock act who plays to thousands gig after gig. Born in America 1972 Chris is the saviour of Christian rock.
His sound is Christian orientated, but his songs sound close to One Direction, Ed Sheeran - that slow uplifting X factor type music. Of course it's uplifting, the guy sings about how great God is!
'Worthy of all praise' Chris Tomlin continues to light the Christian torch with his moving music. He doesn't mess around with metaphorical nonsense, he says it how it is. 'How Great is Our God,' and 'Jesus Loves Me,' exemplify his no-nonsense lyrics and uplifting, mind-blowing music.
He created his first glorified piece of work in 1995 and it truly kick started his song writing juices. The ball was now well in motion. 13 albums later and the guys is still producing the best work out there in the Christian rock scenes. He has even recorded live albums of his work. Live albums really showcase an artist's passion and ability and Chris has at least 17 live albums in his discography.
A heart of an angel and a voice of a God, Chris Tomlin is music's answer to Jesus! And you can catch him on tour singing his spiritually centred songs. He must be knackered because he plays countless concerts year after year with the same amount of passion and delivery as his last. A wonderful man and a credit to Christians all over the world.
Read moreBoth my husband and I are big fans of Chris Tomlin and his music is often played at our local Christian Social Groups. So last year I decided to buy us both some tickets and treat ourselves to a nice little anniversary night out. It was one of the best we have ever had!
We both had such a great time. Chris was awesome on stage. He came out wearing a blue t-shirt and a black leather jacket and a nice black hat to go with it. I remember loving watching him play the guitar while he was singing. So talented. And, his voice is amazing!
The stage looked really nice too. It was lit up with all sorts of lights, different colors and flashing/beaming around all over. The crowd was really great to. We were pretty much all standing the whole time. And, his music makes you want to dance.
My husband and I got in a few good dances that night, it was a really nice and romantic setting. And, the music that was playing seemed to fit that too. It was really nice. We're actually looking forward to seeing him again. But, unfortunately he hasn't been close enough to were we live to pick up tickets.. keeping our fingers crossed tho! Would recommend to anyone who likes good music!
Chris Tomlin, often described as adding a touch of rock to Christianity has been recording music and delighting fans for almost twenty years. His latest album 'Burning Lights' topped the Billboard top 200 in 2013 and since then his global appeal and acknowledgement has grown immensely.
He has a huge amount of music to choose from yet he always seems to make the right choice with his loyal followers (no pun intended). They are always obliged to sing along to the euphoric 'Awake My Soul' 'I Will Follow' and fan favourite '10,000 Reasons' which Chris recorded with frequent collaborator Matt Redman.
He builds a fantastic rapport with his audience as he tells them stories of the connection between his music and his faith. He happily talks to them about his beginnings in the music world and the importance god played within this, how he remains his overall inspiration. A poignant rendition of 'Whom Shall I Fear (God of Angel Armies)' closes a spiritual and satisfying live show with a truly endearing performer.
The presence of these talented musicians and added to that their generous performance are tools of God rare here in Quebec in this form (Christian concerts) but remain important because only 0.6% of Quebecers are saved ... needs are immense. Be blessed! ... a special request: to hear one day in show : '' God's Great Dance Floor ''.

Attended the "Holy Roar" tour with Chris Tomlin, Pat Barrett, and Tauren Wells in Fresno, CA.
It was terrific! Amazing! Wonderful time of worship! Great! Words can't describe the blessing I received!
Loved everyone and their music. The sound was excellent! The videos great! The lights really added to the concert!
I've always loved Chris Tomlin's music and the tour was a great showcase for his talents.
He sang his new songs which were wonderful and really loved and enjoyed singing along with some of the older songs too!
All in all, had a great time in worship and enjoyed everything!
I absolutely love Chris Tomlin's songs and his voice. Two of my favorite songs of his are Amazing Grace and Love Ran Red. I figured he would sing Love Ran Red at the concert but was so pleased he sand Amazing Grace and some of his other older songs. He was amazing. I asked 5 other people to go with me and although they like Chris' songs, they were not such finatics as I am. They are now! I love the question and answer time as well. It was personal and very fun. Chris has quite the personality and it was an added bonus to see. All I can say is what a night!!! Love, love, love....

I did not go to his Christmas Show because his assistant sent me the wrong tickets, instead of tickets for his concert in Hershey they sent me tickets for the Beacon Theatre in New York City, and there is no way I am driving all the way to New York from Baltimore especially during the Christmas season!!!! Plus I used to drive up to Long Island every couple of months to visit my late fiancee's family and it would take us 4 and 1/2 to 5 hrs. depending on traffic and weather conditions, it is pouring rain so needless to say I won't be going to his concert in New York City tonight.
The concert was so great, I enjoyed it so much! It was my first concert ever and I’ll be glad to be in a second one soon if Chris comes again to Toronto next year, thanks so much for it. Another thing that I would like to add is that if he can choose another place for the concert, because the Massey Hall was so small for space, it could be great if he can choose a better one like Air Canada Centre.
Chris started off the night singing! After a couple songs, he introduced Pat Barrett who sang his songs, then they both sang a few more together. Wonderful music and worship, hard to believe Chris Tomlin has been in the music industry for 30 years! He played so many songs, some throwbacks from over 10 years ago! A night where the Holy Spirit was felt by many of us!
A wonderful night to praise and grow in worship orchestrated by Chris Tomlin. All the musical worship leader joining Chris were in stage the whole time. No downtime to change the stage. Chris's pastor have a informative and entertaining message on all aspects of worship. One of the best nights of worship and love from, about and for God.
Amazing, Holy Spirit filled concert. You could feel the presence of God. There’s nothing greater than when the world comes together to uplift the name of Jesus. All of the artist involved are very blessed and talented. Special guest Rascal Flatts which was a complete surprise to me. I recommend this concert to everyone.
