Saw Emika in Bristol in December 2019.
Amazing show!
It was a real intimate location which made things all the better. It was great to be up so close watching her doing what she loves the most, and that is making and performing beautiful music.
Sandwiched inbetween Wicked Games which helped open and close the show, we were treated to some of her finest tracks like Run, Double Edge, Falling In Love With Sadness etc.
Close was a real highlight, and seeing it live really endeared me to the song further and seeing Emika work her magic was inspiring and made the track a real favourite of mine. Eternity is a favourite track of mine too and was great to hear that too.
She even included Restless Wings into the set. What a fabulous choice!! This was most popular with all attending and I can happily admit to dancing my socks off to that one. The gig was so much better for that too.
All in all, I can honestly say this was my favourite gig I have been to. Music was amazing and she interacted so nicely with the crowd, all in a city which she clearly has such great affection for.
She has a beautiful personality too and as such , also spent time meeting and chatting after the gig too and was happy to have a photo taken and mix with everyone while having a well deserved drink!
Fabulous night anyway, can’t wait to see her again some day!!!
Excellent night at the iconic 100 Club in London, Emika was fantastic on the keyboard and vocals also spot-on. Been following her career since 2008. Never thought I would get a chance to see her live as she does not seem to play the Uk often, catch her if you can. Venue was very small and intimate, just how I like it. 10/10.
Great venue with lots of history and not too big.
Emika sounded fantastic the crowd couldn’t get enough. She played a good mix of old and new and nearly an hour and a half 11 out of 10.
