I saw David Ramirez, along with Matthew Wright, at ISIS Music Hall in West Asheville on June 6, 2018.
The entire show was great, beginning with Matthew performing solo on the keyboard and singing a number of his own songs. Matthew is an accomplished musician, the lyrics to his songs were meaningful, and his voice is very pleasant.
David's performance was stellar! His voice is strong, resonant, and just wonderful, actually. His songwriting is tremendous, too - great lyrics and melodies. He interacted nicely with the audience, and I was absolutely pleased with every aspect of this show. ISIS Music Hall is a treasure in the Asheville area, too - just putting a plug in for them.
If David Ramirez is performing near you, then make it a point to go. I'll bet you'll enjoy hearing him as much as I did.
David is more than just a songwriter. He's a brilliantly talented poet who also has the ability to sing. His show is by far one of the best I've ever been to. Bonus points that on this tour, each show is a live recording! So, we get to re-live that evening as often as we'd like. David pours his heart and soul into his music, and you can literally feel that in the room.
David put on an Awesome Show....sound was perfect, took time to stop and talk to us before and after the show. His stage performance and energy could not have been stronger. I would recommend this show to everyone even though it is nice only having a small crowed and being able to watch row 1 with 10 other people.
This show was so amazing. It felt very intimate because it was in a backyard! There were stringed lights which made it feel pretty magical. The owners were so sweet and fed everyone and made each guest feel welcome and loved.
David and Matt were amazing! Such a great show!
Excellent, heart-felt show. David's lyrics are touching and raw, hitting all corners of the soul. His musical abilities are skillful, as well.
The location Rumba Cafe isn't bad. Good sound and parking isn't difficult, but for three beers being almost $20...
The concert was incredible. I loved the intimate venue for music by such a prolific storyteller. It was soul crushing and I would never take it back for anything. Thank you for an amazing show, it couldn't have come at a better time for me.
Davir Ramirez is a fabulous songwriter and musician. I love @ramirezdavid for his self-awareness as shown in his heart-catching lyrics and his all-out performing. Very real, solid songwriting, definitely a don't-miss act!
David and his band put on an incredible show at The Rustic. So much energy! He sang several new songs coming out later this year, and lots of older favorites. Excellent crowd, too.
