Wo! Katy B was soooo good bouncing around with her group of four dancers, singing beautifully " crying for no reason" a personal favourite! She can multi task like no other artist of her generation dancing & singing her heart out! Loved every minute of it. She had a super reception from the Nottingham crowd & she felt everything on stage. Love & respect x
With a voice so powerful that it hardly needs any amplification (and makes a mockery of her nickname Little Red), Peckham-born Katy B is one hell of a pop star in waiting. It’s only a matter of time before the world wakes up and realises this as a statement of fact. With two solid records in 'On A Mission' and 'Little Red' already under her belt, the twenty-five year old flame-haired singer has been bringing the sound of the clubs to the charts and venues up and down the country with a style and verve unmatched by many of today’s pop acts. As someone who was raised on the music from clubs and radio stations that specialised in dance music, Katy B knows how euphoric those tracks can be, and that’s what she bases her live show around. So the crowd ends up bouncing around to classics-in-waiting like "Lights On" and "5am" as much as the singer does onstage, while a track like "Next Thing" pumps and pulses like a great club track should.
If you aren’t going to the club, Katy B is simply going to bring it to you instead; there’s rarely a time when you’ll look around you when she’s playing that you won’t see someone dancing, or a sea of hands in the air. Looking at the crowd from up there on stage, Katy must be thinking “job done."
