See all your opportunities to see them live below! If you hate fun, then a GWAR show is not for you. This is the greatest band to ever grace this planet. Tip: get a GWAR white shirt and wear it during the show. You'll end up with a pretty neat blood-splattered design.
It was my first time seeing GWAR and definitely won't be my last. Not only did they sound good but the show was an experience you can only get at a GWAR show. 13/10 will see them everytime they are in my area.
The Bourbon Theater was a great venue but the tickets were OVERPRICED! They were listed a $22 plus fees which ultimatley led to them being $55 plus fees. All sid and done my tickets cost $155 for two! Not worth the money and ridiculous to overcharge that and then not consider it to be "premium" seating where you could actually sit during for the opening acts-which were NOT listed with the tickets. US Bastards were TERRIBLE, He Is Legend is very close to being a great band, Ghouls was funny in a nerdy way and GWAR was exactly as expected. The show dragged a bit and got too political and could have ended 20 minutes sooner. All in all I give it a 2/5 stars. Not worth the cost of the ticket.
