Timothy Zachary Mosley, also known as Timbaland who lets me be honest, makes artists somewhat credible, examples being Justin Timberlake’s “FutureSex/LoveSounds”, and Nelly Furtado’s “Loose”. He is a talent who has somewhat got the record selling formula down when it comes to writing hits. His album, “Shock Value” was in the top ten of 10 countries and was also certified platinum.
Tonight, the room is electric, with the patrons beside themselves with excitement. They can’t believe their eyes when Timbaland walks onto the stage. There are no half measures with this Virginia hip hop artist as he invites Justin Timberlake on stage to perform his hit songs, “Sexy Back” and “Cry Me a River”. He invites One Republic’s Ryan Tedder onstage for his song “Apologise” and of course the fiery Canadian/Portuguese songstress, Nelly Furtado for the songs “Maneater” and “Say it Right”. The audience is absolutely euphoric, screaming the words at the top of their lungs as Timbaland and co trawl through this unforgettable set.
Timbaland is a fantastic performer. Regardless of the many views that he is a producer before a performer, he really knows how to put on a great show and keep an audience thoroughly entertained for an entire 2 hour set. His DJ-ing is out of this world, and the chance to experience it live, and dance along with a whole arena of fans was something very special, highly energised, and just crazy fun! The combination of tracks from 'Shock Value' and 'Shock Value II' worked seamlessly together, and his rap over Justin Timberlake's 'Sexy Back' was an awesome addition to his original tracks, providing a mix of genres appropriate for a festival audience who may not have been fans of his music previously. I thought this awareness of the audience was great, and really demonstrated his apprechiation of his fans,and his desire to please them.
All in all, it was a fantastic set with lots of dancing, enthusiasm, and a great vibe, i'd definitely reccomend it.
