  I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a DJ pairing who looks as pleased with themselves during a set as The Upbeats do. Watch this duo mix live and you’ll find yourself smiling at the sheer excitement these dudes throw out to the crowd. They clearly love what they’re doing and have such a childlike joy for the music they produce. It’s so refreshing and energizing to observe.

  The Upbeats have an electro drum and beat style, which just builds and builds throughout a song before suddenly dropping and making crowds go crazy. Seeing hundreds of people around you just wait and wait for the drop and still go crazy from surprise when it finally happens is pretty awesome and entertaining.

  In my opinion, the guys’ original stuff holds the same weight as their remixes and both are always equally loved during a set. Each gig these two play is always different and fresh, but some crowd-pleasing favourites, which tend to show up regularly include, “Alone”, “Diffused” and “Beyond Reality”. For a massive, dance-heavy night you won’t forget, definitely check out The Upbeats.
