  DangerDoom is the one-time collaboration of rapper MF Doom and producer - and one half of Gnarls Barkley – Dangermouse. Their 2005 collaboration was a cartoon wonderland, featuring vocals from a multitude of characters from the Adult Swim cartoon network and repeatedly referencing the shows, as well as featuring on them. The album was an ode to off-kilter alt hip hop, with the kind of lyrics thought up over a bowl of fruit loops watching the morning kid's shows. Their hits 'Benzi Box' and 'The Mask' featured performances from Cee Lo Green of Gnarls and Ghostface Killah respectively. A long list of names from the hip hip pantheon jumped on tracks, declaring their passion for the animated nostalgia of their childhood Tv favourites. The pair worked together again for a follow up EP in 2006 titled 'Occult Hymn' which kept the theme running strong. Their live performances are reflections of the cartoonish vitality of the album, Doom bounces around stage with his ubiquitous Dr Doom mask shielding his identity, continuing the comic theme, while Dangermouse keeps the music blasting from behind the booth. Their music is a milestone in underground hip hop, their crowds know this, and you will too once you've heard it for yourself.
