I saw them with my 88 year old mom who loves ELO in Portland Oregon June 2019. I had never really followed them but heard some of there songs on the radio,Now i listen to them all the time ,one of the best concerts ive been to in my 63 years.II hope they tour usa again i would love to see them again.My mom is going to have one of there songs played at her funeral when the time comes Not yet!!!!!
I saw the 1977 line-up in Wembley Arena on 6 June 1978. They were touring Out Of The Blue and started with Standin' In The Rain. Acoustics in the arena were rubbish though. Some claims of miming - total rubbish - this was following the release of the VHS tape which had been edited to allow the click track to dominate. Subsequent DVD had the sound we all heard which was live.
Perfection with a capitol P. A concert for the young and the old. Best concert I have ever been to. Would have loved to see and hear more other songs like Xanadu and Last Train To London. But still an A .
Full throttle from get go. Many great songs, all but two from the seventies IIRC. Ericsson Globe is not the best venue for a consert but I loved it anyways. The light show was great too.
Fantastic concert! I personally wish he would have done Xanado as he has been doing this year and last year (2017) but he took a lot of his very best songs. Absolutely outstanding 10/10
