I’m Franck Nijhof and I have 30 years of programming experience, in many languages. Since 12 August 2017, I’m using this experience to work on the Home Assistant project by giving back my knowledge and time to the open source community.
You might have found me via one of the many add-ons I’ve created for the Home Assistant operating system: Hassio. My Hassio add-ons are probably the most downloaded and used add-ons in the world.
I'm also the creator and maintainer of Awesome-HA.com, a central online resource helping you to find all the Home Assistant good stuff that this world has made available to us.
I try to stream regularly on Twitch, it is not much special. I'll work on code, and you can watch me do it. In meantime, you'll have the opportunity to ask me anything in the chat. Often we'd end up doing different things, because of the conversations in the chat. Sidetracking; I love it ❤️
