Novartis was recognized with the ‘Made WITH Patients’ Award for its outstanding contribution to the patient engagement landscape.

We are proud to be included, for the fourth consecutive year, in the 2023 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index which reflects our continuing commitment to gender equity and inclusion at Novartis.

Novartis is proud to have achieved Double A List status in CDP for a second consecutive year, reflecting an A rating in both CDP Climate Change and CDP Water Security in 2023.

As part of our ongoing commitment to LGBTQI equity, we’re proud to be recognized as a Stonewall Top Global Employer 2022, with Silver Award. This award reflects the huge strides we’ve made as a company over the past few years toward creating a more equitable and inclusive work environment for our LGBTQI community around the world.

Novartis was once again included in the Fortune World's Most Admired Companies list, gaining a score of 7.5 (2021: 7.4) in the survey. This year, over 3 700 executives, directors and analysts completed the survey, with a total of 640 companies across 28 countries participating. Novartis ranked #5 in the pharmaceuticals industry list.

Forbes teamed up with market research company Statista to identify the companies most liked by new workforce entrants in their annual ranking. The list was compiled by surveying 20 000 Americans with less than 10 years professional experience working for businesses with at least 1 000 employees.

We are honored to have been certified as a Top Employer globally, the first time our worldwide organization has earned this distinction. This certification will encourage the continued attraction of top talent to our organization and strengthen our offering as a destination employer into the future.

Novartis rose to #3 in the Fortune World's Most Admired Companies Pharmaceuticals Industry list, from #4 in 2020 and 2019. Across the scored reputational dimensions, Novartis saw significant improvements in Social Responsibility (ranking as #4 most admired pharma company in this category in 2021 vs #8 in 2020) and Quality of Products (#4 in 2021 vs #7 in 2020). Novartis ranks #3 in Innovation and #2 In Global Competitiveness (the same as 2020).

We moved up one position from number 3 in 2016, in recognition of our efforts to improve worldwide access to healthcare. Novartis remained the industry leader in access-to-medicine management, and its newly launched Access Principles – which aim to systematically integrate access strategies in how the company researches, develops and delivers medicines globally – have been highlighted as an innovative practice.
