Intro

Fully equipped with helmet and climbing harness, you will summon the courage to tackle the Eiger North Face under the expert instruction of our registered mountain guides. The train to Jungfraujoch makes a special stop at the “Stollenloch”.

Rising majestically above the glacial village of Grindelwald near Interlaken, the Eiger North Face has held great significance for the local population and the international mountaineering community for centuries. Numerous stories and legends surround this imposing rock face and have been passed down in books and films and by word of mouth.
Now you have the opportunity to experience this legend at first hand. Expertly coached by our experienced IFMGA mountain guides, you can try your hand at climbing the North Face of the Eiger, equipped with a helmet and harness. The train to Jungfraujoch makes a special stop at the “Stollenloch”.
As you experience this Eiger North Face adventure, your mountain guides will regale you with dramatic tales of climbers on this imposing rock wall. Given the dimensions of the wall (1,800 metres high), these stories cannot fail to impress. The emotions they convey will be etched in your memory and will encourage you to use our natural environment and its resources in a more sustainable way.
We do our utmost to ensure that our activities on the Eiger North Face and its surroundings are environmentally friendly and conserve resources. Our mountain guides take care to use natural resources sparingly and organise your stay on the Eiger North Face responsibly so as not to put additional strain on fragile ecosystems.
By imparting knowledge about the history and significance of the Eiger North Face, we engender an awareness of the beauty and uniqueness of nature among the group. This can help participants to be more aware of the environment and encourage sustainability.
By involving the local populace, the offer can be made even more sustainable. We are confident that our activities will help to ensure that the Eiger North Face and its surroundings remain a source of fascination and a place of beauty for a long time to come and that natural resources are used responsibly.
After the experience, you can either continue by train to Jungfraujoch or return to Grindelwald by train and/or gondola lift.
