Mullen Coughlin Welcomes New Privacy Litigation Associate
Mullen Coughlin strengthened its Privacy Litigation practice this past August with the addition of Associate Edgar F. Navarrete.
Based in California and with over five (5) years of litigation experience, Edgar will continue to defend organizations in single plaintiff and class action privacy and security litigation, as well as from alleged violations of consumer protection and state privacy and information security laws.
Edgar is licensed to practice in California and is fluent in Spanish. He received his J.D. from Loyola Law School.

Mullen Coughlin LLC UK Partner Cameron Carr visits Orlando, FL on September 30 to participate in a live ransomware attack simulation at the International Association of Claim Professionals (ICAP) 2024 Annual Conference.
Joined by cyber insurance and incident response professionals Karrieann Couture (Aon), Jonathan Rajewski (Charles River Associates) and Don Wyper (Digital Mint Cyber), Cameron provides Breach Counsel advice throughout the mock data privacy and security incident response scenario including with the claims management process; the overseeing of the forensic investigation by a DFIR firm; identifying legal and regulatory obligations; ransom negotiation and payment; and post-incident litigation or regulatory investigation.
